Seven Lions and Mat Zo

Today I have some wickedly amazing electronic music for you. This first song is by an artist that I love so much for many reasons. Seven Lions is an electronic act that never disappoints both with album mixes and live mixing. Seven Lions has this very unique style of music that is very trance like and ambient, but is also something that you would definitely catch yourself dancing too. I know that I cannot help but sing and belt out the lyrics to his songs. Seven Lions never fails to have vocalists that are stunning. I mean pretty much every electronic act has incredible vocalists, but Seven Lions chooses vocalists that seem to be specifically for electronic music. These vocals fit like no other vocals could and it is just incredibly perfect. Tove Lo provides the vocals in this song and they are so powerful and transient. This is one of those songs where the voice is able to take you out of Earth and have you soar around in space, floating about the planets and their colorful rings. This is one of those songs that makes you feel free and light and limitless. This is a song that makes yo feel like the world is full of possibilities and hopes and dreams. That is one of Seven Lions best qualities. This is an artist that can always make you feel so incredible in your mind and soul. Seven Lions never makes me feel down , but always seems to make me feel inspired and unstoppable Seven Lions produces music that can range from dubstep to house to trance. He is an artist that likes to explore all parts of the electronic world and does a great job while experimenting. We get masterpieces each time, like today's song. This song has elements of dubstep and trance and chillstep in it that make this something that you find completely irresistible.  It is cool because after the initial chorus, the song drops into a phase and motif of dubstep. But then it always builds up in speed and rhythm to become something more house related. But settling above everything, with the harmonies and melodies, we get a blanket of trance that coats everything in a soft layer but still makes its presence knows. Seven Lions is a master of creating songs and remixes that are stunning and pleasing. Today's instrumental song is but the artist known as Mat Zo. Now it has been the longest time since I have posed anything by Mat Zo, but for those of you who know his music or those of you who like the style of the first song, Mat Zo is a great artist to listen to. Mat Zo kind of takes the sounds and methods of M83 and fuses them with truly electronic methods. It is kind of amazing though to see the man work. For him, every song is creates is like creating a new score or symphony of some kind. Each note is properly placed, every rhythm, and every single line has been mapped out in a way so that few would understand.  But Mat Zo has talent that shines through his music regardless of what happens to the pieces. Mat Zo is an electronic music artist who is genuine. I know a little bit dark, but genuine. Mat Zo is can elicit many different emotions with his music, which I find stunning. While he is a lesser know electronic musician, Mat Zo is someone to keep listening to and finding more about. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
