Duke Dumont and Kygo

Today I have music for you by the DJ known as Duke Dumont. Now I really like his style of music because he knows how to make his own mixes and he can remix really well too. Duke Dumont has that nice chill and fun electronic music. He knows how to make a song that has a more chill vibe to the music, but he also maintains enough energy to the song to make it really exciting and different and new. This is one of those really good summertime songs that you could make your anthem. While the song itself is not an anthem, there is something about it that makes it sounds like a song that could be your personal theme. This song makes use of earworm hooks and synths to give this song a bright sound and even a little bit of a disco sound. Duke Dumont is one of those artists that has entered a really popular genre of music, but he has taken the overarching idea of electronic music and made it his own. A lot of DJ's these days have made music that is very similar in style, but Duke Dumont is very different. The vocalist in this song has a really sweet voice. A female vocalist ha s an incredible voice. It is one that has a very laid back vibe and at times has an ethereal sound to it. Jax Jones has a voice that kind of reminds me of Kelly Rowland which is really cool! She offers a kind of soul to the song which goes well with the instrumental background. One of the things that is really cool about the background instrumentals is the Caribbean/tropical beat in the background. It is that stereotypical island and tiki sound, but Duke Dumont takes the cheesiness out of the sound when he uses it. There is this great piano work happening in this song as well. This song uses the steel drum to add this radiance and brilliance to the song. There is a nice and steady beat to this song with a lot of piano and synth lines weaving through the melody lines. Duke Dumont is one of those under the radar DJ's that clearly has so much talent and so many things to offer. I urge you to listen to more of his music because it is pretty darn sick. Today's instrumental song is by Kygo because Duke Dumont and Madeon have similar styles of music. It is rare to find artists like the two of these so it seems apt to put the two of them together.
