Milky Chance and House

Today I have music for you by the band called Milky Chance. I heard this song a while ago and recently heard it again after a while so I decided to bring the song here! This song has a really cool vibe to it. There is this level of complete chillness to it but there is also a rock feel to it. This song has a great flow to it, a flow that has some ups and downs but is completely fluid. There is a great simplicity to the instrumentation used in the making of this song. It sounds like very few instruments were actually used in the making of this song but we still get this wickedly chill beat. There is a bumping energy to the song but it isn't too energetic as to become a very hyper song. This has the perfect level of calm and thrum to make it a song that does not lag nor does it get boring. The vocals in this song are really intriguing because they have a languid feel to them but have a slight twang to them. Now I thought this was brilliant because Milky Chance hails from Germany and I would never associate a voice like this in a European setting. I think it was that twang that threw me off a bit. I think that it is awesome that they made a song like this and added in a folksy flair. Normally it is pretty difficult to do. I mean Avicii only recently combined folk and country with electronic music and Milky Chance takes a completely different spin on it. This is what chillstep would sound like if it were to combine with folk music, so if you ever wondered what that may sound like, here you go. Another thing I like about the vocals is that it has this gravelly tone to it. It isn't raspy or rough, but it does have this slightly rocky tone to it which I thoroughly enjoyed. This whole album is one that really takes you by surprise because we hear genres that normally don't mix turn into new concoctions. There is something universally appealing about this because there are so many different things happening and all of them sound fantastic. I also really like the lyrics to this song. There is just something so fun about the way he sings and enunciates the words that puts a little hop to my step. This is one of those songs that you just step to and kind of move from side to side and step in circles. It just has that laidback vibe to it and it is just perfect. Today's instrumental song is from one of my favorite shows ever-House. Not only does this show have a phenomenal plot line, incredible actors, and completely brilliant writers, but it has a wicked theme song. This is definitely on the chill side of music but it just sounds so cool too! This is a song that has an extremely awesome vibe because it is so down to earth and calm and relaxing but still somehow invigorating. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
