Steve Aoki & Diplo and Deorro

Today's song is an epic collaboration between Steve Aoki, Diplo, and Deorro. I won't lie, the lyrics are quite simple, but with artist like this, we weren't really in it for the lyrics anyway. This song is beyond sick. The bass in this song thrums strongly throughout the duration of the song and provides this heavy intensity that you can hear and feel, especially when there is a good bass to your sound system. I think you can clearly hear the influences of each artist in this song. The repetitive phrase in the music is very Diplo-esque. If you listen to some of Diplo's other music, you can definitely hear the correlation to this song. It has a sound like it is almost hitting the trap side of things, but doesn't quite want to go that far and straddles between trap and the EDM world. The moomba feel in this song is all due to Mr. Steve Aoki. The way he works and his style is definitely heard in the build up and drop. Those moments are very clearly his contribution to the song. The good drum use is also more Aoki's vibe. Now during the drops and right after, the fact that sound is slightly broken and staccato is Deorro's style. It is very similar to Diplo but isn't as connected. The final drop in this song is so awesome because everything seems highlighted by the crowd noises in the background. This is a very well produced song in my opinion. All three of them have had considerable influence on this song. I love when the beat changes so to speak at around 4:07. It is absolutely phenomenal because when in a crowd, this is the point when literally everyone gets down. They might be head banging, slow jamming, or dancing, but the whole crowd seems in sync at moments like this. There is a dancing nature to this song which is great, but it is more of a "lets go rage and go crazy" kind of song. Absolutely brilliant! Today's instrumental song is by Deorro since most people only know about his remixes. Well, this is one of his originals and it is quite good. When you hear this song, it will be easier to hear how some of the elements used in this song are very similar to the ones used in the first song. But what makes this song even more different is the fact that it takes on more of a house feel and maybe even a little bit of trance. This song in general is happier and more free flowing than the deep intensity of the first song. I'm not going to lie, I think Deorro's song sounds a little bit like what a mix of Diplo and Madeon would sound like. It has that upbeat feel to it while also having that short stop method. This song would be awesome for a light show! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment !
