Outasight and The Wanted

So today I have music by the artist Outasight. It has been a really long time since I posted any of his music, and I was really feeling it! So this song has a very interesting mix of genres in it. There is definitely his usual style of music, but there is also more vocalization going on through the song. I also love the energy that flows through the song and the fun vibe it has. I can dance to this song, chill to it, drive around, pretty much everything! Today's instrumental song is a version of a song by The Wanted. This song is newer and I haven't decided how much I like this song in comparison to some of their older music. It definitely has a good sound to it though! Today's song is a really cool one out of South Africa by the band Kongos. There are so many awesome things happening in this song. For example the first sounds you hear is this really sick accordion work, and yes, these guys made the accordion look even cooler than any other musician out there has. I love the way they use the accordion and the tone of it. And then you hit the chorus which has these really strong vocals and you get the feel from the multiple voices with these sweet guitar licks and such a loud presence with the electric guitar. This song just kicks some major ass! Today's song is by the Beastie Boys, and is one of my favorite songs by them. Zayn Malik and Interstellar

Today I wanted to give a shout out to an artist who is both very famous and very underground. Most people know him as Zayn Malik, that guy who was in One Direction but left the band. So a little background, Zayn Malik was one of the five members of the famous boy band, One Direction. His departure from the band was all over the news last year, and I wont' lie, I felt bad for him. Not because he left the band, but because of what that meant for him in the public eye. It marked him as a huge target for papparzi and press, and I just feel so bad for him because he had to live in that public eye for so long. Which is one of the reasons why he wanted to leave. To live his life more quietly. So that of course, is a consequence of his level of fame. But on the other hand, we have his more quiet and surprising side. Hello, hello! It has been quite a while since I last dropped a post on the blog. I want to go ahead and send a huge shout out to everyone who has been patient with me, and the more sporadic nature of my writing.
