Today is all about the hard rock and borderline metal rock music! This song is by a band called Halestorm. Now normally I am not the biggest fan of heavy rock bands with female singers, but this woman's voice is so incredibly sick! She has such a fantastic grit, roughness, and roar to her voice. Her screams are so freaking sweet and I have to say, it is pretty damn impressive! Today's instrumental song is from the movie X Men:First Class. While this song doesn't have the heavy theme to it, it has an intense energy that is just plain awesome. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

This song has good energy and great vocals! This song is more subdued than usual dance music but it still has a bumping beat. This song is kind of cool because it addresses a huge problem in youth society today. Bullying seems to encompass a lot of adolescent life and this song is kind of an anti bullying message. Felix Cartal and Wolfgang Gartner

Today I have music for you by the DJ known as Felix Cartal. I love the way this song sounds because it has a really good beat and the hook melody is extremely catchy. The drops are on point and the rhythm is one that you can have fun with, dancing or just kind of going crazy. I think these vocals are actually perfect for this song and I love how there is a point when they throw the beat down on a piano. I absolutely love the buildups in this song. They are long enough to create intensity but too long to where you get bored of it. This is a very well put together song in my opinion. Today's instrumental song is by the talented Wolfgang Gartner. This song is pretty interesting because it has a pretty intense feel to it. Splitter and The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

Today I have some music for you that is so refreshing because it is just some good old rock and roll. This song is by a band called Splitter, a name that I would automatically think would suit a  more metal sound. But this song is what I think the Beatles would sound like if they had a little heavier rock. And I love it! This song has a lot of the older rock elements that have become classic, but the lyrics and style of guitar playing is very modern. That combination is pretty damn swell when we hear it in a song like this. I mean you take the guitar solo that is thrown in the middle, and that just screams rock and roll. And then of course we have the vocals which remind me so much of Paul McCartney. This is definitely what a modern day Beatles would sound like, and there is nothing wrong with that!
