Today's song is by one of my favorite swing and jazz singers, Michael Buble! This song has been done many times, and the original by Frank Sinatra, but I love the way Buble sings it. He has a warm voice with infectious energy and enthusiasm. Every time I hear this song, I always imagine myself in a gown dancing away. I know, really cliche, but still, you know you would want to dance too! Today's instrumental song is an instrumental version of one of Sinatra's love songs. This is a slower, more romantic song, but still one of those songs that makes you want to grab someone and dance away. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today I though I would get the ball rolling with some music by the artist known as NF. This is a guy who is a crazy sick rapper. I mean absolutely incredible. The style of rap in this song is one of my favorites. It is this syncopated but fast style of rapping, one that allows rappers to spit rhymes out and get in as much lyrical content as possible. Now I really love this style for two reasons. One, being able to hear the words and verses that the rapper writes is amazing. More often than not, songs like this have some sort of powerful meaning, and this song is definitely one of those. Father John Misty and Inglorious Basterds

Today I have some music for you that is by an artist I have been following for a little while now. Father John Misty seems to have broken through and is on a quiet but steady rise within the music world. What I really like about Father John Misty, is the depth he has both musically and lyrically. He's also a bit eclectic, which is always a plus! To kick us off, I want to talk about Father John Misty as a whole. He has taken on the artistic persona as someone who oddly fits a more folksy kind of sound. It is a neat progression because Father John Misty was a former member of a couple of indie bands, including Fleet Foxes. And with the latter band, we do get to hear some of that folk sound which seems to have translated over into Father John Misty's music. Jason Aldean and Firefly

Today I have some music for you by the famous country singer Jason Aldean. Now I know it has been a long time since I posted anything country, so hopefully this will be a nice change. I am going to keep this one a little short today. Jason Aldean is such a big name in the world of country music and it is clear to see why. He has that rich and powerful tone to his voice with a slight twang to make things sound really country. He takes more of the intense and energetic route with this song and I like that! This song features more electric guitar work than acoustic guitar but I think that is perfect for this song. The electric violin makes a spectacular entrance in this song.
