Keeping It Fresh

Today I have some more electronic music for you! It has been quite some time since I have put any trap music up so that is what you get today. This first song is a remix of a song by The Ninetys. This song is exactly what R&B and rap would sound like if trapped out. Some people may think this is weird but I think this is sick as hell. This song has a chill sound but it also has this really smooth sound to it. The lyrics really aren't important to this song because it is all about the beat for this. I like the way this song is really psychedelic and dark. Darker trap always sounds so much better because it is something you can hang out to all the time. This is just one of those songs that are so nice to chill to and do anything to. This may sound like a lot of low key rap music or R&B music which is really nice. Today's instrumental song is by Flaxo and is one that you can become addicted to to an extent. Of course, being a trap song, this has sick beat to it. That is ac...

Today I have some electronic music for you after a long time of not having anything like this. It definitely has been quite a few days and electronic music withdrawal sucks. So this first song is a remix done by Armin van Buuren. Talk about a guy who really knows what he is doing, Armin van Buuren has been in the electronic music scene for years. And it is clear as to why he has still progressed and made it through even after all that time. His music has so much substance to it and so many different and interesting things happen in each song. This one in particular is a remix of a song by Kat Krazy who is a great artists, no doubt. But Armin van Buuren has a seasoned ear and the talent to make this song even better than the original. He adds an intense element to the fun sound that we get. There is a great balance between the two ideas and he deftly crafts beats that make you want to get up and dance. They make you want to go crazy and have a one man dance party if necessary. That is h...

Today I have music for you by a singer who has such a magical voice. Mat Kearney. Everyone of his songs has this incredible vibe and energy to it. His slower songs drip with emotion and passion and these songs are ones that can really touch the heart of your being. And then we get songs like this which have such a happy and optimistic and vivacious energy. These songs make you feel so amazing about yourself and the world. These songs can make any situation a bright one and can change the entire mood of your day. One of the things I love about Mat Kearney is that the songs that sound like this feature so much percussion. There are different percussion instruments he uses, but the drums seem make this song and kind of create the melody while also being the beat. The percussion sounds absolutely fantastic and adds this wave of energy the song. There are synth keyboards in the background as well which fills in the empty spaces in the song as well. Like many other songs of his, this one als...

Today I have music for you by a band known as The Presets. This song has one of the coolest vibes in have heard. From the lyrics to the instrumentation, this song has an amalgamation of awesome sounds.  This song has a tribal, marching, and warrior sound to it. But the cool thing is that the song doesn't have that high bombast energy of the war and fighting. This has the calm flow before entering the field. This song has something so incredibly unique and it makes the song an intriguing piece to listen to. Parts of the song remind of the calm intensity that people associate with the stereotypical Native American from centuries ago. I don't mean this offensively at all to clarify. But that regal calm and collected nature is what is evoked for me in this song.the lyrics are absolutely phenomenal in this song. They are extremely well written have the older English style of writing. There is something very poetic to the lyrics which is completely different from every other song out...

Today I have some music for you by one of my favorite bands ever, The Script. This band is known for the great songs they produce and perform, songs that make you reflect on the human condition and emotional states. The Script is a band that can always capture The parts of my emotions that are hard to explain and express. They always know how to describe, both lyrically and instrumentally, the parts of life that are stranger and harder to grasp and harder to really understand. What they do with their music is just phenomenal and I am so proud to call myself a fan of theirs. This song in particular is all about losing yourself. Or at least that's how I understood it. This song is about how we all fall off the course sometimes. It really describes something that everyone has to go through. We can't always follow the rules and do what is right all the time and when we lose sight of our path for some time, it can be really hard and painful. But Danny O'Donoghue sings this song ...

Today I have music for you by the band called Milky Chance. I heard this song a while ago and recently heard it again after a while so I decided to bring the song here! This song has a really cool vibe to it. There is this level of complete chillness to it but there is also a rock feel to it. This song has a great flow to it, a flow that has some ups and downs but is completely fluid. There is a great simplicity to the instrumentation used in the making of this song. It sounds like very few instruments were actually used in the making of this song but we still get this wickedly chill beat. There is a bumping energy to the song but it isn't too energetic as to become a very hyper song. This has the perfect level of calm and thrum to make it a song that does not lag nor does it get boring. The vocals in this song are really intriguing because they have a languid feel to them but have a slight twang to them. Now I thought this was brilliant because Milky Chance hails from Germany and ...

Today I have some music for you that comes from the land of musicals and interesting story lines-India. This song is from the musical play called Bombay Dreams. While this is performed mainly in London and New York, the music was composed by some of the greats of Bollywood. This style of song is called a qawwali. This kind of song is my favorite because there is a great richness of culture. In songs like this, we get a mix of Sufi music and Indian music. This song is used in weddings which you can probably grasp from the title of the video. But this is not what most people imagine a wedding song to sound like. This song has this really nice energy and has a faster beat than the conventional wedding song. Even for Indian weddings, this song has a great pace to keep it lively but lovely. One of the things that makes this song what it is, is the male vocals. The vocals in this song are absolutely beautiful. The way Sukhwinder Singh sings this song is absolutely incredible. He sings this s...
