Keeping It Fresh

Today's song is calmer and more soothing, with beautiful guitar playing. Jason Mraz is such and incredible singer and musician. This song is a love song, but it can really apply to anyone you love. His voice is so uplifting and incredible. I saw him live before school started and he is way better live than in recorded songs. That really says something about his voice because usually it is the other way around. This song is really catchy and I hope you all enjoy! Today's instrumental song of the day is definitely more orchestral, but the melody is so beautiful. You can interpret this song in so many different ways. I think the cello solo is absolutely incredible and lyrical. You may not be a fan of orchestral music, but this is very moving. I hope you enjoy and please feel free to comment!

Today's song of the day is by Sebastian Ingrosso and Alesso! This song also features Ryan Tedder who is the lead singer of One Republic (woot woot). This song is really good, and  I was singing along...This song is so much fun to dance, sing, and chill out to. It isn't super repetitive, which is a problem I hear in a lot of house or techno songs. This is a pretty dynamic song and its just amazing! The beat is also a really good pace. Today's instrumental song is by a Russian artist, Ivan Dinges. I found out about him a few days ago and you all get to be my lab rats! I am trying him out on all of you to see if you like him or not. This song is really catchy and has a really consistent, solid bass. Definitely some head-banging and a little dancing too. I absolutely love the small bits of vocals in this song because he blends them really well and they sound really cool. I am glad I found him, because Ivan is pretty darn good. Please comment and I hope you enjoy!

Today's songs of the day are in memory of a fellow classmate who passed away this morning, After a long battle with cancer, he is now free of all the pain and suffering. The first song is by Jimmy Eat World. Hopefully this song will provide some comfort to anyone who has lost someone, and I hope this song resonates with you. The second song is by Train. Those of you struggling and trying to cope with the loss of someone, this is for you.

Today's song is a beautiful song by American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson. Some of you may have heard this song. It gives me chills when I listen to it. This song really showcases Kelly Clarkson's vocal range, and she sings it with so much feeling, one can't help but understand her message. I love the lyrics to this song because it really does describe an event in everyone's lives. I seriously hope you all enjoy this song because it is so moving. Today's instrumental song is from one of the greatest movies of all time-The Titanic. This song makes me feel like I am looking out over the ocean with the ocean spray in my face. This song could possibly make some of you cry (warning you now), but it is absolutely gorgeous and emotional. I sincerely hope you enjoy the music today and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is by a small band called Rooney. Have any of you seen The Princess Diaries? If you have, the guy who plays Michael Moscovitz is the lead singer of this band. Exciting! Well this song has a bouncing beat   and a really catchy tune. They also know how to harmonize really well. This is their most famous song so hopefully you all will like it! Today's instrumental song of the day has an amazing blend of rock instruments. I really love the tune of this song because it is so calming and uplifting at the same time. It's kind of like when you watch a movie and the main character has made the biggest revelation ever and then stretches their arms out while a strong wind blows their hair all around them. Yeah I definitely painted a picture there...But I hope you like it anyway, even if it is a little long. Please feel free to comment and I hope you enjoy the music!

Today's song is by a really popular band, but this song is not a well known one. Maroon 5 has many hits on the radio, but I have to say their last album was their worst one. However, this new album is so amazing! This song is from their new album Overexposed. It is really different from their usual music style and doesn't follow the musical pattern of their more mainstream songs. It kind of has a Cobra Starship sound to it. The beats is really catchy and the electronic rhythms are bumping. Now, this new album has been criticized for not portraying their usual sincerity and some think they are becoming sell-outs. What do you think? Today's instrumental song is by Swedish House Mafia! It is an awesome song so if you have heard it already than just enjoy the amazingness that is this song. If not, you should have that adrenaline pumping at the end of the song. Please feel free to comment and I hope you enjoy the music.

Today's song is by English singer and rapper Example. First time I ever heard this song was on Pandora and I was dancing like I was in a club. This is like the mellow song that they would play at the club-its chill but also dance-able. This song is from the album "Wont't Go Quietly." I think Example has an interesting style compared to what I normally consider rap music. I think this song follows the more Chris Brown style- a good singing chorus with good rap in between. Today's instrumental song of the day is by the Deadmau5 and Wolfgang Gartner. This song is one that you can dance to an is awesome to have playing in the background of a party or if you are just hanging out. It would be so awesome to have a light show, with the gloves that have lights at the finger tips, to this song! Definitely two artists worth checking out!
