Jessie Ware and Burnt

Today I have music for you by the English singer-songwriter Jessie Ware. She is an artist that really go into the spotlight this past year, and it can be seen as to why that is. Jessie Ware likes to air towards the side of atmospheric music, going with more ambient songs, especially the ones that leave you in the feels.

This song is almost hypnotic, with airy and breathy vocals that flood your ears and leave you in a trance. This song definitely has more of kick back feeling to it, a calmer and more controlled instrumental sound. This goes very well with the soaring falsetto that Jessie Ware brings forth in this song. This song is an unapologetic explosion of passion and sparks and love. This is a firework of a love anthem, one that has shimmering synths and warm bass thrums. There is this cool 80s and retro kind of sound to it, although, it is not the peppy kind of sound that most people expect. But the song also has a darker kind of twist on that retro sound, making it a piece that shows more emotions than just the positive. This is the kind of song that you feel in a place that is deeper than just your mind.

This is a song you feel in your emotions, the feelings that allow you to feel euphoria. With the layered synths and violins, plus the vocal layerings, this is a song that really exhibits Jessie Ware's talents. The song is a bit repetitive in terms of the musicality of it, but that is okay with this song structure. It leaves you wanting to come back fr more music like hers. And I have to say, that can be kind of hard to find elsewhere. She is a very talented artist. This is a song that is both lovely and haunting, nothing too eerie or sinister. Jessie Ware is a phenomenal artist, and definitely deserves more recognition. She has an absolutely beautiful voice and an easily switch her ranges and styles of singins. This is a song that is great but also shows us how amazing advertising it.

Today's instrumental song is by Rob Simeonson. Now this piece was used for a movie and I love it. This is a nice and softer score, one that is more emotionally driven and has a lot of moments for the orchestra's own interpretation. But this score has a little bit of an acoustic coffee shop kind of charm, and this something I thoroughly enjoy. There is a quiet and subdued darkness to the song, which I really enjoy and appreciate. This score also uses the piano as a source of reference, now that we really area team.  I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
