Stranger Things & Childish Gambino and Tron:Legacy

Back again today! I know this week I was in and out, but now things should be getting regular again. And to start it off, I have the most incredible remix of a song from one of the hottest shows on Netflix. Now, most people would say that this is a remix of a Childish Gambino song, but I like to think of it differently. Without the Stranger Things theme song in this, we wouldn't get the masterpiece of music we hear. Both of these songs blend so well for a few reasons. The Stranger Things theme song is one that is very repetitive. The lines are repeated with more layerings as the theme goes through. But for the most part, it remains pretty consistent with little fluctuations added in here and there. Because of this, the 80s style track makes the perfect back-track. It is relentless and unfazed and serves as a strong base to add other sounds on top. The retro synths and analog instrumental composition is something that is absolutely phenomenal. The brilliant eeriness to the song somehow contributes to the overall energy and power of the song. The retro synths make for a wickedly smooth support line on which Childish Gambino can spit his lyrics. As soon as he comes is, everything just falls into place. Childish Gambino is a rapper who likes to play with the beat and move to that rhythm. Which makes the Stanger Things theme song perfect.  Between the heart thumping and constant beat with the theme song and Childish Gambino's master wordplay, you simply can't go wrong. What makes this mashup even better, though, is the fact that there are no extraneous instrumental sounds. The song features only the music of the Stranger Things theme song. Nothing else comes from Childish Gambino's song except the lyrics and their cadence. The fact that it still works out to be a brilliant song is just incredible. Today's instrumental song had to follow the steps of the first song. So today I have some music from the movie Tron: Legacy. This movie has a score that is composed entirely by Daft Punk. Naturally, the score is a masterpiece created by two masterminds. Daft Pun expertly took this movie concept and composed a piece that describes the blend of physical and imagination. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
