Jay Park and Lady Gaga

Hey music family, it has been quite a long time since I have posted any music from around the world. So today I decided to go with a song that is not only really good but extremely catchy. This is the kind of song that you won't be able to get out of your head and it is definitely the kind of song you don't want out of your head. Jay Park is honestly one of the biggest Korean heartthrobs. He can sing, dance, and rap, not to mention he is quite a spectacular looking man. Jay Park's music is absolutely amazing because each song has a certain kind of theme associated with it. This song has this Michael Jackson kind of vibe to it, something a little bit groovy while still being a good song to break out into some hip hop. What I also really like about this song is the flawless and seamless integration of Korean and English. A lot of times we get songs that are a mix of English and another language, but they don't always flow smoothly. But Jay Park knows how to work his way around making these two languages flow well. This is that kind of feel good song that you listen to when you are just doing your own thing and going with the flow of whatever is happening at the time. Because of the funk aspect that comes with this song, it doesn't become just a simply bright dance track. Instead, we get a little bit more oomph that will really appeal to people who aren't really into dancing. This song is also on the more mellow end of that R&B spectrum. This is a song that has just enough energy to be fun but is chilled out enough to be a cool lounge sound. Jay Park does a stellar job with this tribute-like song to Michael Jackson and has to be one of my favorites off the album. While it is a more well-known song by him, I think it is slightly safe to say that many people, in general, don't really know who this suave singer is. I definitely recommend checking out his work. It spans so many different styles and each one is executed pretty damn well. Today's instrumental song is by Lady Gaga. When I heard the first song, it really reminded me of the chorus of this song. I will say that Lady Gaga's song has a little bit more power in it and more happening, but there is still that nice lounge sound to this song as well. There is a bit more energy here, creating a sound that you can dance to or chill out to. This song is actually one of my favorites by her! It also helps that there is a seductive nature to the song that really shows itself during the chorus melody. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
