Pray For France

Today, is a day of mourning. We have seen tragedy after tragedy, from all over the world, and all within the span of this year. Not even a full year has gone by, and yet we see so many heartbreaking and frustrating and saddening things. And more often than not, we turn a blind eye to it. Acknowledge that these things have happened and then move on with life. I am guilty of it, as are most of you. And in a world where we are surrounded by dark times, how could we not? But today, today I want France to know that we stand with them. That we feel the pain and loss that they are suffering. And I want them to know that we send our love to them. To those who are hurting, to those who have lost a loved one, to those who cannot feel or move or think because they are in shock. To all of those who want nothing more than to curl up and sob, to those who feel hurt and furious and betrayed. To those who cannot process what has happened and cannot feel. We love you. We send our love and prayers to you. We stand with you and will show the world that fear will not break us down. That we will continue to love and laugh and live beautiful lives. We will always be there for one another. We will always show our humanity. And above all, we will always love one another. And so today, I want to think of France and I want to give you a chance to express the pride we have in France. I want the world to hear the voice of France, the beautiful song of the French people.
