Conor Maynard & Ne-Yo and David Guetta

Today I have some music for you by the artist known as Conor Maynard. Now I won't lie, I have not really heard much of Conor Maynard's music, but I was pretty impressed with the first song I heard by him. Which also happens to be this song! What a coincidence. Accompanying Conor Maynard on this track is one of our beloved R&B singers, Ne-Yo. I have to say, Ne-Yo has really changed up the style of music he performs in and contributes to. It used to be that he was more focused on the R&B and soul side of things, preferring that hip hop crowd. But lately, most of the songs I have heard Ne-Yo in, have been collaborations with DJ's and EDM artists. That is something that is really different from his past work, but Ne-Yo has really made it work! I actually think his voice in melodic hose music or EDM in general, is a great addition to the music because it fits in so well and is a smooth finish. This unusual route of making music is something that really suits Ne-Yo, and I respect the fact that he is trying to make it something that we the fans want to hear more of. We all know that Ne-Yo has a great voice, but what do we really know about Conor Maynard? For me, the answer is that I don't really know him or his music. But after hearing this song, I had to go and check out his other music.  Conor Maynard has a really passionate and soulful voice. You can tell that he is singing out of pure love of singing and not to make music. I love how empowering and lively and slightly inspirational and exciting and even a little romantic this song. That is the thing abut events like this, is that it reminds us of the past sometimes. For me, this reminds me of all the times I have let myself go to to the winds outside the car while being a passenger. It makes me want to get into a truck, straddle the window, and the let the wind clear out my soul and give me a sense of overwhelming contentment and peace. Now I had no idea that Conor Maynard was from England, which is pretty exciting because I think that explains why his music has the sound that it does. There is a very distinct style and sound to all kinds of music within the European sector. This song is the kind of European song that has that sound as if it were to be found all over the dance floors and clubs. It has this really great house beat to it, one that is both full of energy and really bouncing. This is an electro pop song that has openly and gratefully welcomed the R&B vocals provided by Conor Maynard. I would also like to point out that Conor Maynard has a higher voice, one that is a little bit on the sweeter side. But there is also a powerhouse hidden in those vocals, and a deep thrum of passion for music that you can hear from the moment he opens his mouth. He has a really nice and smooth voice, a little like honey, but also makes sure to include his soul into the music, giving it a very full feel. There is a little bit of a mainstream feel to this song, something that we could hear anywhere from the radio to the clubs thriving in night life. But at the same time, it is a song that really captures your attention due to how talented Conor Maynard is and for how spectacular the message is.  The freedom and independence and life you feel coursing through your veins while listening to this song is something that you cannot ever shake, and because of this, the song becomes one that we want to remember. Today's instrumental song is by David Guetta. Now this song is a very similar style to the first song. It is a song that features electronic work and is in collaboration with R&B vocals. But the first song made me think of this one immediately, so I knew I had to bring it in as a complimentary song. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
