Kiiara and Tove Lo

Today I have music for you by an artist who goes by the name Kiiara. This song is so low key and I love it because the song itself sounds so chill and relaxed and lounge worthy. So in essence, perfect for a low key evening at home. This song is done in this really chill and mellow style that has gotten somewhat popular lately. A little bit of a Tove Lo vibe with this song, but Kiiara also has a style that is totally different. Kiiara is pretty interesting because her music is more of ballad than an actual song. I feel like she really does tell a story here, and it is one that I relate to a lot right now. This song is all about having way to many emotions, feeling too many things that you don't know how you actually feel. That pretty much sounds like everyone to be quite honest. But this song has such a nice smoothness to it. This is the kind of song that washes over you gently, something that you really get into the groove of. There is no hype in this, no sense of a climax or anything like that. Kiiara keeps it pretty simple, and spruces things up with the way she sings. Like I said, this is more like a ballad to me because of how Kiiara sings. It is more of a mix between singing and rapping lyrically honestly. She takes the cadence of a rap song, but throws her vocals in, giving us this really cool vocal blend. Kiiara takes a nice alternative R&B twist and turns this into move of a sexy vibe. This is also kind of a smoky jam, which is a weird explanation, but also makes sense when you hear the song. There is this cool and suave nature to the song that just makes it so great. Kiiara also throws in breathier vocals which goes super incredibly well with the background instrumentation. The background is so damn simple, and I love that! It is a really nice ambient synth sound with percussion. That is literally it. And that goes so well with the entire feel the song is supposed to give off. I don't know how these producers do it, but this song is just so well done. I like how the vocals and synth work are all flowy and elongated and more ambient, but the percussion is more forward and precise. We get this really cool dichotomy of sounds and styles that all come together to make this a really great song. I won't lie, I thought this was definitely a sexy kind of song. I mean the slow R&B mixed with soft vocals, it all works splendidly! I am honestly really excited to see what Kiiara comes out with in the future. I am definitely a fan of her music, and the rest of her music can actually be found on all those music social media websites. But I do hope you go check them out, because the books are definitely worth it. Today's instrumental song is by Tove Lo because Kiiara reminds me a lot of her. But anyway, this song was one that got pretty popular, but I can see why. The entire sound of the song is super appealing. The lyrics are alright, but the music is amazing. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment !
