Chvrches and M83

Today I have a really cool song by the band Chvrches. Hailing from Scotland, this band has such a great sound that kind of takes you to another state of mind. When I hear this song, I always imagine running around a city at night with the moon shining bright, and just running and running. This is another one of those songs that are so hard to express in words. It is hopeful but melancholic at the same time, one of those things that really describes the craziness that is the human heart. But I love the drum claps and synth work in this song as well. What Chvrches does very well is employ ethereal vocals to create an ambient kind of feel. Now of course not all of their songs are like this one, but the band does do a fantastic job of making the song have that atmospheric kind of feel.  Today's instrumental song is by the always phenomenal, M83. Everything that this group does is absolutely incredible and I can always listen to them. At any time of the day and any mood they always have something that I can listen to. This is a band that self composes their masterpieces, and performs everything as well. I do post a lot of their music, I know, however, for good reason. Every song presents us with a different story, a different emotional journey. And that dynamism within their overall musical sphere is just absolutely incredible.
