Trey Songz and Jamie Foxx

Today I have some newer music for you by one of my favorite R&B singers. Trey Songz has an incredibly sexy voice, one that is silky smooth and completely effortless in my opinion. There is this beautiful flow to his voice, the way water flows and washes over you. This is definitely a typical Trey Songz kind of song, meaning that it is a very great song for the bedroom. Trey Songz definitely has the reputation of having an arsenal of babymaking songs in his production repertoire. The song starts with a guitar playing a smooth and calming melody, with Trey Songz then entering with soft and almost brittle vocals. He takes it easy, with low and calm vocals which then start to elevate and grow as the song goes on. The simple stringed melody continues for a good portion of the beginning before the other instruments are added in, which is a little bit different for an R&B song like this. A lot of times the instruments are added in quickly to generate that passionate sound, but Trey Songz builds up to a climatic point which accentuates the sensuality of the song. It makes that sexy feel and sound arrive in a prominent way which enhances the babymaking capability of the song. Trey Songz keeps his signature vocalization with the trills and scaled falsetto work with this song, but the way the instrumentals are executed in respect to the vocals is different. I can't say that this is a completely new sound for Trey Songz. But this is a song that captures everything you could feel when wanting to get intimate with someone. It has moments of cute acoustic work, transitioning to something that has varied beats to give the song some excitement, and then goes to that incredibly sensual sound. This song is so steamy despite the fact that it has a laid back beat to get support from. I won't lie, this is a song where you could get some serious dancing going on, but the kind that we all want to do with our significant others. Trey Songz has done it again with his latest single and I absolutely love it. Today's instrumental song is a version of a song by Jamie Foxx. This guy is the original, the one who really started to make passionate and sexy and perfect bedroom music. Jamie Foxx has the voice for it, the production skills and experience, and knows how to write lyrics that are enough to get things going. I am a huge fan of this instrumental version because we really get to hear that percussion beat with the programmed synth and keyboard work in the background being a soft accompaniment.
