Graffiti6 and The Bravery

Today I have music for you by one of my favorite music projects out of London by the name Graffiti6. I have posted quite a bit of music by them in the past, and I think for good reason. Graffiti6 is one of those low key bands that a few people know about, and even fewer know how far their influence really goes. Graffiti6 is comprised of two musicians, Jamie Scott and Tommy Danvers. What many people don't know about these two is that they are unofficially members of the boy band One Direction. Jamie Scott is the guy responsible for writing a lot of One Direction's big hits and romantic ballads. He really is the sixth member of One Direction, or should I say fifth member now? Either way, we already have a taste of Jamie Scott's lyrical talent, and see even more of it with his work with Graffiti6. The thing about Graffiti6 that I love so much is how soulful the band sounds. A lot of the musicality of the song has this offbeat pop sound, with some funk thrown in. But Jamie Scott belts out with so much soul that it kind of blows you away at first. This song in particular is a really nice showcase of his soulful and gospel sound. The thing is though, that there are still elements of contemporary rock and alternative sounds and even some synthesizer use. There is a lot more complexity to the music track than people think, and it is even more impressive to know that the two musicians perform all the music. Graffiti6 is a band that you can listen to at any point in time and space because of the versatility and commonality this song has. There are so many different sounds that come with Graffiti6, but these sounds still have a common thread to link it to so many ear pleasing genres. This song takes on an energetic vibe, but it isn't to the point where you feel overwhelmed by the energy. It is a pleasant level of energy and vibration and is just enough to get your groove on. Graffiti6 did release a new album, so I hope you guys go check it out! Today's instrumental song is a version of my favorite song by the band known as The Bravery. This is one of their more popular songs, but I love the message and overall feeling of this song. There is such a great energy to it and the instrumental track in the back is simply uplifting. The Bravery has not recently come out with new music, but that does not mean I don't go back and listen to all their old music. Good days....I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
