Manic Drive and Hansel and Gretel

Hey guys, sorry about not posting yesterday. But, today I have music for you by a band known as Manic Drive. This song has a really wicked sound to it because it captures the intensity of hard rock and a heavy house beat. This song had a great combination of the two of the and honestly I think this song sounds pretty darn bad ass. I feel like the main melody is pretty simple but the background adds so much to support the main tune. There is a point in the song where there is an electro/guitar solo and when you hear that one specific segment it becomes clear how important the instruments are to this song. I love the way this song was made because most of this song relies on the use of conventional band instruments and the idea of hard rock and maybe even a little bit of metal. Now I might get some flack for posting a song by a Christian rock group, but my intention is merely to spread around this sick music. If you are bothered by the religious affiliation of the people in this group, then focus on the lyrics instead. This song is all about uniting the world and breaking down the barriers that we build to unnecessarily separate us from others. I love how Manic Drive really hits this message home by making the song have a strong intensity to it. Somehow, it illuminates the message even more by making us want to listen further and by fully immersing us in the song. I have to say, it is kind of nice to see a song of this type to be involved with some techno mannerisms. Immediately in the intro we can hear the electro work done by the synths. Even though it is minimal, it is still there and I think it sounds brilliant. And the drum work is pretty impressive. In the video, you might be able to catch the awesome tricks the drummer does with the drum sticks. What makes this song even more intriguing is the fact that the vocals in this song are not what is expected from a song that sounds like this. There is a very smooth and lighter tone to his voice. It doesn't have the grit and growl that is expected, but I think his smoother voice fits the song better. It turns this song from a heavy metal song into one that is just hard rock and makes it more pleasing to the ear. In addition, the tone and sound of his voice is good for making the song sound intense and he sounds AMAZING live. The way the vocals work in this song is very similar to the way they work for the band Linkin Park and especially Anberlin. If you are a fan of either band, this song will definitely be a plus! Today's instrumental song is from the move Hansel and Gretel. To be honest, I was not interested in seeing this movie but the trailer had some awesome music. This song definitely falls in the "rock" category and is a really good song to get you motivated to do something completely incredible.
