Courrier and Explosions In The Sky

Okay, I confess that today's song is one that I heard from a movie trailer. However, I thought this song was absolutely amazing and just downright incredible. This song is by a band called Courrier, and I have to say, this is some of the most beautiful and inspirational songs ever. It's one of those songs that doesn't have much vocalization but it speaks so deeply through the music and soft vocals. One of those songs that you just feel rushing through your body, mind, and soul. I know, that was pretty cliche, but it is so true! This is one of those songs that you would imagine the wind blowing in your face, facing the setting sun and just breathing in the world. This is one of those songs that leaves you absolutely speechless. It does have a bit of an M83 twist to it, but this song is still distinctly different in comparison to M83. The lyrics even talk about the idea of breaking barriers and becoming free, just like the tone and mood of the song. Everything about this song emanates that feeling of complete bliss and contentment and happiness. All of the good in life, everything that leaves you in this blissful serenity where all you have left is to smile. That is what this song does. That is what this song brings out. This is a song that has so much power behind it. The lyrics alone are enough to move you. Whether you believe the walls that are coming down are barriers to love, racism, social injustice, or understanding someone, there is a deep and heartfelt power that thrums throughout the song. I highly recommend looking at more of their music! Today's instrumental music is by a band that I have not posted about in a VERY long time-Explosions in the Sky. And it is quite a shame that I haven't posted much by them because they are absolutely phenomenal. This song, and all their others, speak right to the core of the self. Just astoundingly wonderful, beautiful, and perfect! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
