Crlf & Justin Timberlake and The Great Gatsby

Today I have a really sexy remix of a song by Justin Timberlake. This is a man who is so popular and is wildly talented. This song is definitely one of his older songs, but it still kind of remains a classic. This remix by Crlf who is a Danish DJ. This remix is definitely a really sexy and smooth and suave remix. Crlf did a great job of making sure this song has a chill and rounded sound to go along with Justin Timberlake's phenomenal vocals. The thing about Justin Timberlake is that he exudes that sex confidence and it has become part of his persona. Therefore, it is only fitting that remix reflects how we all see Justin Timberlake. Crlf does some really cool stuff to make sure that the remix keeps true. The beginning is really simple with echoing note drops that sound like they are reverberating. This establishes a nice chill and relaxing atmosphere. Then Justin Timberlake's vocals are added in. His vocals are slowed down a bit thought so that the words are longer and more sustained. Even the faster parts that occur when he sings are slowed down and make it feel more like a stroll in the park rather than a jog. This is really awesome because it follows with that sexy theme. When the chorus hits, we get underlying harmonies that are done an octave below which sounds so great with the higher vocals. There is also this heavy bass thrum which you don't notice at first, but if it were taken out the song would feel so incomplete. There is a nice simplicity to the production of this song but it was done so well. I think the key to this song was the right keyboard and synth work. Without the precise note placement, this song would definitely be lacking a bit. This song also has that jazzy snap to it which adds a little bit more allure to the song. That might actually be an apt way to describe this song. It was turned into a slow jazz song with some electronic components. And it sounds absolutely amazing that way! I have to say, Crlf did a fantastic job with this remix. Today's instrumental song is from the movie The Great Gatsby. This movie was not only amazing to watch, but the soundtrack was incredible. It has this perfect mix of modern and older styles, both of which fit very well to the way the movie was done. This song in particular features the musicality of the xx, a group that has really impressive electronic music work.
