Wolfgang Gartner and Bombs & Bottles

Today I have a really awesome but interesting song for you by Wolfgang Gartner. Now as far as DJs and musicians go in general, Wolfgang Gartner is a a favorite. There is a certain originality and signature sound that Wolfgang Gartner has. You hear this particular sound in every song, from the super popular ones to the lesser known songs like this one.This song is extremely catchy and has a very intense background beat which serves as an awesome pulse and thrum for you to follow. Everything about this song falls into place. The overlaying synth work melds and twines within each other to create a full sound. I absolutely love how the chorus sounds because it is one of those intense sound that you would work out to, or run to, or if you are like me and let your imagination run wild, the chorus has a sound that would make me feel like I were in a fight. Particularly, an ancient style knife fight, but that is just me! Anyway, Will. I . Am provides a great set of rap lyrics that blend in well with the feel of the background music. Although the rapping should be the most prevalent sound, the two music genres mix very well together. Will. I . Am is a perfect addition to this song and helps balance out the heavier electronic work, making this song more dynamic and rounded. Today's instrumental song is by an artist who I am in love with. Bombs and Bottles is just fantastic and incredible. I highly recommend you go listen the rest of music. As in this is a must listen to. With vocals, the songs are angelic and are reminiscent of The Weekend, but I prefer Bombs and Bottles. Now the instrumental mixes are just sick. This song doesn't have a super heavy bass that drowns out every other sound. Rather, there is a phenomenal balance of house and trance to this song which makes it sound really cool. This song is definitely a masterpiece and is a very catchy and contagious one at that. There are some vocals in this song, but they are totally worth it because the vocals are extremely good. There is a gentle power to the vocals and makes them sound very sexy in my opinion. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is a really cool one out of South Africa by the band Kongos. There are so many awesome things happening in this song. For example the first sounds you hear is this really sick accordion work, and yes, these guys made the accordion look even cooler than any other musician out there has. I love the way they use the accordion and the tone of it. And then you hit the chorus which has these really strong vocals and you get the feel from the multiple voices with these sweet guitar licks and such a loud presence with the electric guitar. This song just kicks some major ass! Today's song is by the Beastie Boys, and is one of my favorite songs by them. Ima Robot and Tame Impala

Today I have a song for you by the band known as Ima Robot. Many of you will recognize this song because it is used in the show Suits. Disclaimer, Suits is a wonderfully fantastic show and I highly recommend you go watch it. Anyway, this song has a really cool and suave feel to it. It has that artsy urban grunge to it which I really like. It is a different way of performing rock music and takes you back to the 90's style of music. This song has a really cool charm to it because a lot of the song falls on the support of the bass guitar over the drums. The bass guitar serves as a secondary percussion to the rest of the instrumentals. It is actually kind of awesome how simple the instruments are in this song because when you bring the together you hear a really sick song. The main instruments are of course the bass guitar, tambourine, drums, and keyboard. Nothing else makes an appearance and I like it that way. The music in this song is so structured but so laid back at the same time.

Zayn Malik and Interstellar

Today I wanted to give a shout out to an artist who is both very famous and very underground. Most people know him as Zayn Malik, that guy who was in One Direction but left the band. So a little background, Zayn Malik was one of the five members of the famous boy band, One Direction. His departure from the band was all over the news last year, and I wont' lie, I felt bad for him. Not because he left the band, but because of what that meant for him in the public eye. It marked him as a huge target for papparzi and press, and I just feel so bad for him because he had to live in that public eye for so long. Which is one of the reasons why he wanted to leave. To live his life more quietly. So that of course, is a consequence of his level of fame. But on the other hand, we have his more quiet and surprising side.
