Stranger Family and Inception

Today I have a very interesting song for you by Stranger Family. Each of these members are actually individual artists who came together to make this song. There are so many different and interesting things happening in this song. It starts by introducing you to a strong electronic hip hop beat that really captures yuor attention. It has this cool intensity to it that makes you want to keep listening. This beat then segues into some Hindi rap which is something pretty much everyone is unaccustomed to. And guess what? It is good. It is really good. It doesn't have a "fresh off the boat" sound and accent to it which is just plain awesome. The rap fits really well and maintains that darker energy and it sounds pretty damn cool. But for all my English speakers out there, never fear because the second verse is done in English. This song actually switches between Punjabi and English which is pretty awesome because they do it seamlessly. It doesn't sound weird when they do it and the Punjabi sounds really good with the English as well. The Panjabi style of music is infused with the hip hop beat as well and has the same feel as the artist known as Panjabi MC.And like almost every Indian song, there is a female vocalist involved. But she is good and makes the song still sound good because she has a deeper voice to contribute rather than the normal higher pitch of female vocalists. The beat for this song is pretty damn sick and I love the way it sounds during the chorus. The chorus is pretty badass to be honest. It has a heavy focus on the beat and instrumental background which I really enjoy. This song is sick and I thoroughly enjoyed this song. Today's instrumental song is a remix of one of my favorite movie scores of all time. Hans Zimmer did a phenomenal job with Inception and this entire soundtrack is mind blowing. This remix is done by Junkie Xl who also writes scores. In fact, he is the one responsible for the wickedness that is the 300: Rise of an Empire soundtrack. Now that is some sick music right there. But what I really like about this remix is that it still pays attention to the softer moments in the song. The remix doesn't try to cover that up or speed it up. In my opinion I think it is great that the more moving and vulnerable moments in the song are present because it adds so much more to the intensity and type of energy in this song. This remix truly is brilliant. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
