David Cook and People Like Us

Today I have music from an American Idol champion by the name David Cook. This song has a really nice guitar melody line, one that meshes so well with the sweetness of the lyrics. I am a sucker for songs like this, I can't deny it, but David Cook has really done a wonderful job. There is an element of rock, pop, country, and romance all balled up into one song that he rounds off with that slight grit in his voice. I think this song is so great and his voice does the yearning in this song justice. Today's instrumental song is from the movie People Like Us. I find the beginning drum part to be extremely cool and pretty darn amazing! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today I have some music for you by Tritonal and Paris Blohm. Both of these artists are forces to be reckoned with. They may be considered "new blood" in the world of electronic music, but these two definitely belong up there. This song is so incredibly wicked! This song was just so well produced and it has some of the sickest elements I have heard in a very long time. The opening of this song starts calmly and with a piano but then it turns into such a pumped up song. When people see video clips of electronic concert goers jumping and dancing and having a wild time, this song is something that could be playing in the background. It has all the elements of a fantastic trance song. The vocal verses are less intense and less electronic oriented. In this case, the piano and keyboard take the verses on. Felix Cartal and Wolfgang Gartner

Today I have music for you by the DJ known as Felix Cartal. I love the way this song sounds because it has a really good beat and the hook melody is extremely catchy. The drops are on point and the rhythm is one that you can have fun with, dancing or just kind of going crazy. I think these vocals are actually perfect for this song and I love how there is a point when they throw the beat down on a piano. I absolutely love the buildups in this song. They are long enough to create intensity but too long to where you get bored of it. This is a very well put together song in my opinion. Today's instrumental song is by the talented Wolfgang Gartner. This song is pretty interesting because it has a pretty intense feel to it. It almost sounds like something that would be used in a fight scene, and when I say this for some reason my mind automatically goes to Teen Wolf....Anyway, I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today I have some music for you from one of my absolute cover groups ever. This group takes songs that we all know and love, and turns them into the jazziest renditions and it is wonderful. Postmodern Jukebox is possibly one of the most creative and fun and incredible artists I have ever heard. The ability to take a song that is extremely popular, and cover it with an original style is hard enough to find.
