So today, I have some older music by a band called Metallica (you may have heard of them). This song has a very fast tempo and pretty aggressive playing, which makes sounds phenomenal! This song has that signature thrash sound that is just so sick! I think the name Metallica says it all! Today's instrumental song comes from the movie, The Immortals. This song has an intense rock sound that builds up tension and mixes with some electronic sounds. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
Kongos and Beastie Boys
Today's song is a really cool one out of South Africa by the band Kongos. There are so many awesome things happening in this song. For example the first sounds you hear is this really sick accordion work, and yes, these guys made the accordion look even cooler than any other musician out there has. I love the way they use the accordion and the tone of it. And then you hit the chorus which has these really strong vocals and you get the feel from the multiple voices with these sweet guitar licks and such a loud presence with the electric guitar. This song just kicks some major ass! Today's song is by the Beastie Boys, and is one of my favorite songs by them.
