Today I had to post the new 30 Seconds to Mars song. I thought it would be too recent, but this song is just so amazing! This song takes elements of their old music and fuses it with their newer style. It is incredible to see how fantastic of a job 30 Seconds does in their song production. Everything about this song is so sick and hats off the Jared Leto for his brilliant work! Today's instrumental song is from the movie X Men: First Class. I love how this song progresses and becomes more exciting as the song goes! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today I have a cover of an incredibly famous song by another extremely famous artist. Willie Nelson has done a very beautiful rendition of one of Coldplay's best songs. This song was done for the movie The Judge, and it fits splendidly with the entire mood and tone and essence of the movie. What I love about this cover is that it sounds absolutely nothing like the original song. Willie Nelson is able to convey that same sentiment in a way that is completely different from the way the original song was done. This version has more of a country tone to it, but there is something more folk to this song. I think that is what makes this song so beautiful. The fact that is folk and has that warmth of perceived 1800s ranch homes. It has that warmth that comes with summer nights in the prairie, that beauty of the wide open space. Splitter and The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

Today I have some music for you that is so refreshing because it is just some good old rock and roll. This song is by a band called Splitter, a name that I would automatically think would suit a  more metal sound. But this song is what I think the Beatles would sound like if they had a little heavier rock. And I love it! This song has a lot of the older rock elements that have become classic, but the lyrics and style of guitar playing is very modern. That combination is pretty damn swell when we hear it in a song like this. I mean you take the guitar solo that is thrown in the middle, and that just screams rock and roll. And then of course we have the vocals which remind me so much of Paul McCartney. This is definitely what a modern day Beatles would sound like, and there is nothing wrong with that! tyDi and Benny Benassi

Today's song is by an Australian DJ called tyDi. He started out as a drummer, but then switched to being a DJ so his songs has pretty great drum beats as well. This song has good energy and great vocals! This song is more subdued than usual dance music but it still has a bumping beat. This song is kind of cool because it addresses a huge problem in youth society today. Bullying seems to encompass a lot of adolescent life and this song is kind of an anti bullying message. But the way that tyDi goes about it is really cool. This song definitely has this really nice chill undertone to it. It sounds like something that would belong to an underground club or music scene. There are some darker undertones to it, and even a little bit of psychedelic undertones. This music video fits the undertones of the song not only because of the content, but also the video production.
