Now I know that I have recently posted an Anberlin song, about 12 days ago. But I felt obligated to share this amazing Anberlin song with you all because it is just perfectly amazing! This song has an awesome rock sound that has slightly epic rock moments in it. However, it is the chorus that is really moving. Not only are the lyrics compelling, but the melody is absolutely beautiful! There is one note that doesn't follow the normal chromatic scale and that note makes this song what it is! Today I have music for you by a band that goes by the name Clubfeet. This song has a really cool sound to it. When you feel like listening to indie style electronic music, this group is one that can satiate your desire, and do it with mad style. Clubfeet is a group which has such a smooth sound to it but the band falls on that psychedelic side of music as well. This song is one that is hard for me to describe because it sounds very familiar in the tonality and melodies but also sounds very original. The track has that independent and unique vibe and sounds that no one else can copy. I am a huge fan of the way the vocals are presented because it is done so with layers. It is never just one voice and one sound you hear from the vocals, but many harmonies and different ways of singing the same lines. Today I have an interesting mix of genres. Today's instrumental song is by an awesome duo from Sweden, Icona Pop. It is rare to find female DJ's and electro groups, but here is one that has great beats! This song is really catchy and its something that you could be caught dancing to in your room. I think Icona Pop is really pushing more into the music scene, and I hope they begin to be noticed more! Today's instrumental song is by the gods of French house and house in general-Daft Punk.
