Today's song is a new one by Phoenix, and I absolutely love it! The melody has the usual energy that Phoenix brings, but it does so with an awesome indie twist of Asian style music. And of course, they are able to make something off beat sound so perfect! The whole song is just composed incredibly well! Today's song is an instrumental version of one of my favorite Arcade Fire songs. It has a similar sound to Phoenix but is still unique. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today I have music for you by the DJ known as Felix Cartal. I love the way this song sounds because it has a really good beat and the hook melody is extremely catchy. The drops are on point and the rhythm is one that you can have fun with, dancing or just kind of going crazy. I think these vocals are actually perfect for this song and I love how there is a point when they throw the beat down on a piano. I absolutely love the buildups in this song. They are long enough to create intensity but too long to where you get bored of it. This is a very well put together song in my opinion. Today's instrumental song is by the talented Wolfgang Gartner. This song is pretty interesting because it has a pretty intense feel to it. Today's song is from Europe, more specifically, Italy! It is quite interesting because pretty much everyone I talk to are oblivious to Italian music, so I thought this was the best place to put it up! DJ Provenzano created a really catchy tune with this song. This song is pretty awesome because it has a really cool mix of electronic music and the violin. Not going to lie, if you translate the song, you will notice that the song has a really good meaning...or maybe that is me misinterpreting...But anyway, this song has a consistent bass beat and has a really catchy tune, and I really like when it goes into violin mode. Willie Nelson and The Assassination of Jesse James

Today I have a cover of an incredibly famous song by another extremely famous artist. Willie Nelson has done a very beautiful rendition of one of Coldplay's best songs. This song was done for the movie The Judge, and it fits splendidly with the entire mood and tone and essence of the movie. What I love about this cover is that it sounds absolutely nothing like the original song. Willie Nelson is able to convey that same sentiment in a way that is completely different from the way the original song was done. This version has more of a country tone to it, but there is something more folk to this song. I think that is what makes this song so beautiful. The fact that is folk and has that warmth of perceived 1800s ranch homes. It has that warmth that comes with summer nights in the prairie, that beauty of the wide open space.
