So today's song is by a band that has become more popular lately-The Script. I remember the first time I heard them was when their first album came out, and I absolutely fell in love with them. Choosing a song from their new album was really hard because they are all so incredible. Apparently this album has received mixed to negative reviews, but I would love to disagree with those critics. This album showcases every style The Script has tried, but it is also more soulful and inspiring. This song in particular has an upbeat sound with smooth, moving vocals and lyrics. This song has beautiful harmonies between the instruments and vocals. Go listen to the rest of the album and let me know what you think of it! Today's instrumental song is by Caspian. Today's song is by an Australian DJ called tyDi. He started out as a drummer, but then switched to being a DJ so his songs has pretty great drum beats as well. This song has good energy and great vocals! This song is more subdued than usual dance music but it still has a bumping beat. This song is kind of cool because it addresses a huge problem in youth society today. Bullying seems to encompass a lot of adolescent life and this song is kind of an anti bullying message. But the way that tyDi goes about it is really cool. This song definitely has this really nice chill undertone to it. It sounds like something that would belong to an underground club or music scene. There are some darker undertones to it, and even a little bit of psychedelic undertones. This music video fits the undertones of the song not only because of the content, but also the video production. Felix Cartal and Wolfgang Gartner

Today I have music for you by the DJ known as Felix Cartal. I love the way this song sounds because it has a really good beat and the hook melody is extremely catchy. The drops are on point and the rhythm is one that you can have fun with, dancing or just kind of going crazy. I think these vocals are actually perfect for this song and I love how there is a point when they throw the beat down on a piano. I absolutely love the buildups in this song. They are long enough to create intensity but too long to where you get bored of it. This is a very well put together song in my opinion. Today's instrumental song is by the talented Wolfgang Gartner. This song is pretty interesting because it has a pretty intense feel to it. Splitter and The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

Today I have some music for you that is so refreshing because it is just some good old rock and roll. This song is by a band called Splitter, a name that I would automatically think would suit a  more metal sound. But this song is what I think the Beatles would sound like if they had a little heavier rock. And I love it! This song has a lot of the older rock elements that have become classic, but the lyrics and style of guitar playing is very modern. That combination is pretty damn swell when we hear it in a song like this. I mean you take the guitar solo that is thrown in the middle, and that just screams rock and roll. And then of course we have the vocals which remind me so much of Paul McCartney. This is definitely what a modern day Beatles would sound like, and there is nothing wrong with that!
