I think today's song is a slower song, but is a lovely one. I really like the subtle guitar solos and melodies that make the song a happier, bubbly song but also calming. Howie Day has a really nice voice that has a soothing effect and sings with a happier, freer voice. The instrumental song is by M83, who yes, is the creator of the song "Midnight City." This song is so amazingly beautiful in my opinion. Parts of it sound like it could fit into the scene where Simba ascends Pride Rock after defeating Scar....or any other movie about overcoming the odds in life. Its is just a beautiful song that brings amazing visuals to the mind. I hope you enjoy and feel free to comment!

Today I have some music for you that is so refreshing because it is just some good old rock and roll. This song is by a band called Splitter, a name that I would automatically think would suit a  more metal sound. But this song is what I think the Beatles would sound like if they had a little heavier rock. And I love it! This song has a lot of the older rock elements that have become classic, but the lyrics and style of guitar playing is very modern. tyDi and Benny Benassi

Today's song is by an Australian DJ called tyDi. He started out as a drummer, but then switched to being a DJ so his songs has pretty great drum beats as well. This song has good energy and great vocals! This song is more subdued than usual dance music but it still has a bumping beat. This song is kind of cool because it addresses a huge problem in youth society today. Bullying seems to encompass a lot of adolescent life and this song is kind of an anti bullying message. But the way that tyDi goes about it is really cool. This song definitely has this really nice chill undertone to it. It sounds like something that would belong to an underground club or music scene. There are some darker undertones to it, and even a little bit of psychedelic undertones. This music video fits the undertones of the song not only because of the content, but also the video production. Ek Villain and Pearl Harbor

Today I have music for you that I find to be quite unique. This is from a Bollywood film and comes from the Indian music industry, yet it sounds like nothing I have ever heard from this film industry. I know that Bollywood is home to thousands of movies and even more songs, but this song is unlike anything I have ever heard from the entire era of Bollywood music. This song is from the movie Ek Villain which is an absolutely phenomenal movie. A lot of Indian films that have come out in the recent few years have kind of sucked, but this film is one of the really good ones. And with a movie like this, you have to have a soundtrack that is equally as interesting and intriguing and spectacular. This song is actually one of my favorites from this movie and for good reason.
