Today I have a song for you by an electronic artist that I am absolutely in love with. Adrian Lux has such an incredible sound to his music. There is always a certain feeling that he evokes with the melodies and harmonies within the song. This song is particular has a darker energy to it, but it is one of those songs that makes you want to explore the darker depths. The first time I heard this song was actually on Teen Wolf. I don't quite remember when they used this song, but I can clearly imagine what kind of scene they would have used this song for. It makes me think of either a dance or when something intense is about to happen. I personally find this an awesome song to workout to, especially running. It has that deep thrum that forces you onwards. Today's instrumental song comes from the movie Oblivion. I have to say, this soundtrack truly is a masterpiece. Today I have music for you by a band that really started to take off about 3 years ago. Atlas Genius really came to the forefront with the release of Trojans and then If So. However, this whole album is absolutely brilliant. There is something very unique about their sound and it makes it hard to put them in a single category. And this fact is absolutely amazing because it means that they are able to cater to so many types of listeners. The vocals in this song are very smooth and feature the idea of stretching notes, especially on vowels. This along with almost a 70's or 80's influenced synth and guitar in the background creates a very original sound and an individualistic feel to Atlas Genius. Today I have the newest song by The Bingo Players. Part of me likes to think that this song was made in part for and dedicated to Paul Baumer. It seems that his spirit is present because this new single is very very good. This song does have slightly melancholy melodies to the it, especially in the background. But it also has that inspirational feel to it. The Bingo Players met a blow and are now rising back up from being knocked out. I love the chorus melody, especially with the underlying supporting harmony. This is definitely a fantastic dance song and I can't wait to hear it played in clubs. There is a constant source of energy, however it is dynamic. This song is full of both sadness and strength, a perfect expression of the current situation. We love you Paul. Today I was definitely in the swing mood, so I have music for you today by the great Michael Buble. This song is very happy and has that bright energy that a lot of songs like this have. The title of the song is very appropriate for the feel of the song. I love the romantic sweetness this song while still remaining very classy. I think that is one of my favorite things about this kind of music. It can be very cute and about love without referencing things like sex all the time. This song is just a beautiful one that uses the idea of big band so incredibly well. I can't help but smile when I hear this song because it really does make you feel good. This is one of those songs I can see being performed in a really fancy hall or in a nice hotel, someone crooning away with the grand piano. Today I have music for you by two of the biggest names in the electronic scene. To be honest, when you put Avicii and Nicky Romero together, you can't go wrong. Its literally two sounds of awesome that come together to create something phenomenal. I really like the way this song feels and they way the tracks are layered onto each other. This song is just kind of magical because it has so many feelings mixed into one. But all of these feelings are bright, like happiness, love, and fun. I could not stop dancing to this song because it has that infectious energy that tends to pervade your entire being. Which is great! Today's instrumental song is one of my favorite songs by David Guetta. This also has such a great dancing feel to it and both the instrumental and vocal versions are incredible. Today I have music by am artist known as Thomas Jack. Now the original song is not by Thomas Jack, however, the awesome remix was. This song really reminds me of the beach, somewhere that has a nice feel to it. Its also one of those songs that you can listen doing random things like cleaning your room or just chilling around. Its one of those songs that you can listen to no matter what, and I also love the fact that you can't help want to sway and bounce on your feet a bit. Today's instrumental song is by another incredible solo artist who goes by Joe Garston. To be honest, I only recently heard this song, but I really really liked it. It has a smooth vibe and a bass that doesn't dominate the entire sound. I feel like this is one of those songs that you can listen to and just go to a different state of thinking. Today I have a pretty awesome song for you by Flux Pavilion, and it features one of the greatest underground rappers ever, Childish Gambino. Gambino is one of my absolute favorite rappers because the content of his lyrics has so many layers to it. Even this song, one that is seemingly all about fitting into that party scene has a deeper meaning. Now Flux Pavilion knows how to drop the bass, and the drop in this song is beyond sick. It kind of has elements of trap while maintaining their normal style, so kudos to you Flux! Childish Gambino and Flux Pavilion together makes for a powerfully entrancing duo and an energetic beat that makes you want to dance or head bang hard. Today's instrumental song is from the movie Tron: Legacy. What I love is how suave and effortless Daft Punk can make their music sound.
