Keeping It Fresh

Today's song is an absolutely amazing one by one of my favorite DJ's. Madeon has done it again, for the umpteenth time, and has created another masterpiece of a song. This song has such a cool energy to it that is very much his style but has this slightly darker element to it which is extremely awesome. Everything about this song is just so sick. The beats are great and the chorus synth melodies are the greatest. And Ellie Goulding's ethereal vocals compliments this song perfectly. In case you can't tell, I really really really love this song...and Madeon. Today's instrumental song is by Savant. I like this song because it has a similar style to Madeon but also has a more hardcore sound. Its all about the sweet beats and dance music today! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Hey everyone, I'm back! I know I didn't post last night, but in my defense, I was at a concert. And let me tell you, it was such a great one too! Young The Giant...absolutely phenomenal. Anyway, for today's song I decided to go more mellow. This song is by Marlene and has a really great sound. I like the R&B style beat mixed with synth. I think its a combination that works very well together and add her vocals on top, it creates a very smooth sound. I really like this song and I lover her voice. It has a strength to it but also has a very feminine sound. Today's instrumental song is from the movie Mission Impossible 2. A pretty good movie, and a great soundtrack so I'm not complaining! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

It has been an extremely long time since I have posted any Latin or Spanish music. So today, I have some music by the always incredible and one of my favorite foreign artists, Daddy Yankee. This is actually a pretty old song by him but I never get tired of it. This song has so much energy and such a great beat to it. This song cause infectious dancing and if you don't feel the need to get up and dance I bet you caught yourself head banging a little bit or even bobbing. I highly, highly recommend you listen to Daddy Yankee's other music because it is just as good! Today's instrumental song is some reggaeton beats. I love this beat so much, maybe because you can do so much with it. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song comes out of New York City, from the amazing band known as Vampire Weekend. What I love about this song is how different it is from Vampire Weekend's usual style. This song has a beautiful and melancholic feel which is a stark contrast from their usually upbeat and baroque styled rock. There is a different kind of strength to this song. Its not like those powerful ballads with strong vocals that you normally hear, but has such a strong sense of emotion and life. This song is quite unique and I really enjoy that. Today's instrumental song is from the movie Tears of The Sun. I have never seen this movie so I can't really tell you anything about that. However, this song is absolutely beautiful and moving. The soft melodies coupled with a Moroccan or Middle Eastern type beat gives this song something special. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is by an awesomely weird group called Con Bro Chill. I have recently posted another one of their songs and I am really just trying to up the awareness of these guys. They are pretty crazy and I love their style. Definitely worth looking into deeper if you like any of the songs I have posted by them. Today's instrumental song makes me really happy because it is pretty iconic and is just an all around awesome song. Duck Sauce has made such a catchy, fun, and danceable tune that will get stuck in your head and its like having a constant party up there. I love everything about this song because it is just so perfect! The sweet beats and the cool oohing in the background along with guitar. Love this song! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today I have two interesting songs for you! This first song is by the Middle Eastern DJ Offer Nissim and electronic duo Epiphony. These two artists have a lot of music together and let me tell you, its all pretty wicked. I really love how they incorporate the cultural feel into their music, with the Arabian style scales and string work. The vocals are soft and smooth, giving this song a super trance like feel. I highly recommend you all go listen to the rest of their music because its pretty freaking phenomenal. Today's instrumental song is by Mike Hawkins. This song has pretty sick sounds and beats to it as well. And the drop is so amazing because it totally changes the feel of the song. I love the energy and everything about this song too. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is just kind of a weirdly intriguing one that you can't help but keep listening to. This song is by Peter Bjorn and John, and let me tell you, this song is extremely unique. In general, I think this song has so many different things going on that truly makes this song unique from the rest. The first thing is the beginning chorus that strikes you and then you get hit with this sick drum work that happens in the background. The oddities in this song plus a really cool drum line make this song very special. I really like this song because it is so weird and is a truly indie song. Today's instrumental song is from the movie The Jungle Book. I don't know why, but the first song really reminded me of this one. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
