Keeping It Fresh

So today's music is just pure power and songs of epic proportions. Florence Welch provides her vocal power along with strong drum beats to create this piece of raw strength and soul. Everything about this song just emanates that power and strength while also having a very appealing and exciting sound. I have to say, this is one of my favorite songs by Florence and the Machine. Everything about it is so perfect and epic. Today's instrumental is also a piece of epic work, and is inspired by the character Khan from Star Trek: Into Darkness. What I absolutely love about this song is how the beginning has a mournful and suspenseful sound which then leads to this great, full sound. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's music comes from a duo out of England called the Rizzle Kicks. This song is just brilliant. There are no other words I could use to describe this song that aren't synonymous with "brilliant" or "genius." It is so incredible to hear the way traditional mariachi trumpet sounds fuse so well with an R&B beat. This song has a different kind of energy that makes you want even more of this style of music. The rapping is pretty awesome as well and all in all, damn sick song! Today's instrumental song is a version of a sweet song by Gorillaz. This song has the same kind of weirdness to it that just makes it freaking great! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

So today's song is by the band Blink 182. I have to be completely honest, I am not a fan of this group. I will probably get a lot of shit for this, and I should probably regret saying that, but whatever. However, I have to give the band some credit because I absolutely love this song. The way they harmonize the minor guitar keys is so soothing to the ear, and of course, Travis Barker is just a freaking badass on the drums. And I love the vocalization during the chorus. It has this underlying grit and roughness which is even more appealing. Today's instrumental song is by Switchfoot, one of the most soulful bands out there. This is probably their most famous song, and it is clear to see why! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

So today I have music by the artist Outasight. It has been a really long time since I posted any of his music, and I was really feeling it! So this song has a very interesting mix of genres in it. There is definitely his usual style of music, but there is also more vocalization going on through the song. I also love the energy that flows through the song and the fun vibe it has. I can dance to this song, chill to it, drive around, pretty much everything! Today's instrumental song is a version of a song by The Wanted. This song is newer and I haven't decided how much I like this song in comparison to some of their older music. It definitely has a good sound to it though! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today I have music from a band out of Canada called Marianas Trench. This song is absolutely phenomenal! They skillfully and artfully combine a pop rock sound with older pop/swing music. This song is so fun to listen to and it always gets you up and dancing. It has that energy that will always pick you up and make you want to go out and go have fun! This band is one that I highly recommend delving deeper into, because they have incredible music and awesome vocals! The lead singer's vocal range is so impressive! Today's instrumental song is a version of a song by the always amazing Olly Murs. It is just as fun and energetic, and I love it! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today I was definitely feeling some electronic music. Today's song is some heavy duty electro music by DJ Don Diablo and Example! This song has a very heavy bass foundation and has so much energy! It is something you can dance to, chill to, or get crunk to! This song is so pumped and just freaking awesome! Now today's instrumental song is actually a remixed version of the Teen Wolf theme song. This remix has been done by The Bloody Beetroots, and its kicks serious ass. I am a huge fan of the TV show Teen Wolf, and even though most people like originals better, this remix is absolute brilliant and pretty damn sick. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today I have music by a band called Panic! At The Disco. What makes this band so unique from majority of the artists and musicians out there, is the use of traditional orchestral elements. This band is definitely known for having baroque influences in their music. This song in particular leans more towards the rock side, but is based in that baroque style. I also love the whole steam punk theme that this album has, because let's be honest, its pretty damn sweet! Today's instrumental song comes from the movie Sherlock Holmes. It is such a phenomenal score and a fantastic movie! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
