Keeping It Fresh

Today I have some intense electro and dance music for you. This first song is something I have already posted before. However, this is a phenomenal remixed version of the song by Showtek. This song has a fantastic mix of trance and harder electro, so it basically kicks ass! Today's instrumental song is a mix done by Starkillers and DJ Bl3nd, both of whom are freaking crazy! Today I have a song by an artist out of Norway who has a sick mix of hard rock and sheer bad assery.  Ida Maria's song is just phenomenal! It has the heavy guitar work and persisting bass guitar along with a very edgy and grungy vocal sound. This is a song that I can imagine some of the older rock bands playing, a Ramones or Sex Pistols type thing. Today's instrumental song is from the Lone Ranger and was actually composed by Jack White. For anyone who doesn't know, he was the front man for The White Stripes. Jack White is one of the greatest guitarists and would fit the description of a brilliantly edgy musician. So today's song definitely falls under the category of slightly weird. I don't even know how they do this, but Teddybears has created such and awesomely crazy combination of rock and reggae. I have to say, it is pretty damn genius! This song has energy and a wicked sound that makes everyone want to jam out a bit. Today's song is by one of my favorite solo artists ever, Mika. This man is one of the most unique, entertaining, and original artists I have ever heard. Each song is so different from another, but they all have an element that is recognizable as his work. The melodies are phenomenal and the lyrics have a great meaning or are just funny! This song is off his latest album and has such an incredible power to it that just makes this song absolutely perfect. Today's instrumental song is a cover of a song by Walk the Moon. I was really feeling some Indian/Bollywood music today. I don't know why, but I found myself listening to a bunch of Bollywood songs. So today I have an older song that I always find myself dancing to. What makes this song different from a lot of other Indian songs is that it doesn't have that typical bhangra feel, but is still a song that you can dance to. For today's song, I have music from a band out of London called Graffiti6. Now what I find so amazing about this song is the use of a groove bass and an off-beat guitar. The vocals in the song are also clearly heard but have a muffled or fuzzy sound to it. Graffiti6 has this incredible unique way of blending soul and folk that I find so entrancing. This song is a feel good song that I can listen to a lot and it is a band worth delving deeper into. And yes, to the other ladies, I find the lead singer just as attractive! Today I have music from a duo called Kids of 88. This group has done a phenomenal job with this song. It can be something you chill to, dance to, or work out to. This song has such a great beat and the melodies have this unique type of energy that really gets the blood running. The sound is just so awesome and addictive! Today's instrumental song is by Deadmau5, and I have to say, it kicks some serious ass! The drops are so fantastic and the general sound of the song is just so sick!
