Today's song is by a Scottish dance-punk/post-punk revival group Franz Ferdinand. This song is so brilliant because they have so many tempo changes and play off beat. There is a constant, driving energy that is so infectious! I can listen to this song over and over again because different things pop out from the song. The every part playing in the song is really powerful. Sometimes I when I am listening to this song, I can't help but dance a little....This so is absolutely brilliant! Today's instrumental song of the day is from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Hans Zimmer is a genius, and this song is so energetic and powerful. It follows the Franz Ferdinand song in that it starts out slower and then builds up speed. This song is splendid! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

For today's song of the day, I have chosen music from one of the greatest electronic groups of all- Swedish House Mafia. Last night was the last time Swedish House would play together. They are now offcially over, and it is so depressing. Swedish House Mafia had an incredible sense of rhythm and melody, and always used singers who were not very well known. They are one of the greatest groups I have heard and I am sorry to see them go. We love you Swedish House Mafia, and I hope that all three members, Alesso, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso have an awesome career ahead. The following songs are some of their greatest. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is some hard rock by Queens of the Stone Age. This song has repetitive beats and rhythms but it has a driving energy to it that makes this song so awesome. The killer guitar riffs in throughout the chorus are incredibly amazing and very fluid. There is also an awesome use of the bass guitar and a great guitar solo. By the way, this song was nominated for a Grammy....that's how brilliant it is! Today's instrumental song comes from the movie Looper. I have not seen it yet, so hopefully it is good...this song also has killer riffs, but switches between hard rock and a more mysterious tone. Please feel free to comment and I hope you enjoy the music!

Today's song is by an Australian DJ called tyDi. He started out as a drummer, but then switched to being a DJ so his songs has pretty great drum beats as well. This song has good energy and great vocals! This song is more subdued than usual dance music but it still has a bumping beat! Today's instrumental song is by Benny Benassi. This song has a harder beat and is definitly more intense, but it still is amazing! I hope you enjoy and please feel free to comment!

Today's song of the day is by a British alternative band called Wolf Gang. They are definitely not a very popular group, which sucks because I think their style is so refreshing and new! This song takes rhythms from the 80's and meshes them with more current sounds and instruments. They have a sound that is almost like fun. and the Naked and Famous came together and went back in time to the 80's. Its pretty darn amazing! I really hope you like this song, and even if not, I do recommend going and listening to the rest of their music. Today's instrumental song comes from Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. This is pretty intense but it has the most interesting twists, that I thought, why not? I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today, I have music from one of my favorite bands-Anberlin. This song has an amazing blend of hard rock and indie rock, with some orchestral music thrown in. This song just flows so well together and was masterfully finished. I can't begin to describe the complexity of feelings in this song. I don't know why, but I find it to be very moving; the lyrics and melodies are just so perfect. It goes from being a calm, lovely song to having guitar riffs and amazing drum action. I sincerely hope you enjoy this song because it IS incredible. Anberlin is definitely a band worth checking out! Today's instrumental-ish song comes from the Lord of the Rings soundtrack. You can call me whatever you want, but this trilogy is one of the best the world has and will ever see. This song does not have the fast pace of the previous song, but still has that moving quality to it. I hope you enjoy and please feel free to comment!
