Dillon Francis and 22 Jump Street

Today I have some music for you by the funniest DJ in the electronic world, Dillon Francis. Now this song is totally different in comparison to all the other songs he has put out there. This song falls heavily on the side of progressive house rather than moombahton. Dillon Francis is trying a different direction with his music on this new album, and this song is one that really defines the difference. This song features the vocal work and musicianship of The Chain Gang of 1974. This song is actually full of collaborators, and I find that to be a great thing. I really like the way this song sounds because it is very different for Dillon Francis yet still retains some of the elements that are associated with his style. A lot of people are not happy with this transition, but many more really like this move. I personally really love this song and like the way Dillon Francis is able to create a progressive house song very well. However, I am also a huge fan of Dillon Francis' old style because it seems to suit him and his personality much more. There is something inherently original and stylistically his when it comes to moombahton beats. But, Dillon Francis did a really great job making this track and you can tell that work went into producing it. Dillon Francis worked really well with the Chain Gang of 1974. This artist has a style that can be described as electronic and indietronica. So, this the Chain Gang of 1974 is a really great addition to the song because not only can it offer great vocals, but also contribute to the electronic production behind the song. The Chain Gang of 1974 gives really good vocals that are energetic and exciting. While I am still rooting for Dillon Francis' old style, I am not rejecting this style as well. Keep it up Dillon Francis! Keep surprising us! Today's instrumental song is from the movie 22 Jump Street. While this song has less electronic influence in it, the entire 22 Jump Street soundtrack is incredible. All of these songs have extremely heavy electronic influences and the DJs used are wicked. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
