Today's song is an energetic and pumping song by Wild Club. This song has the energy felt in a lot of happy indie songs, but one of the cool things about this song is how they use the bells as the underlying melody and bass. This song is also so complete without having that super climax moment that people akin to a drop. It still maintains a good feel and great sound. This sound is pretty captivating and even contains the beat to bob and sway to. Today's instrumental song is from the animated move, The Road to El Dorado. Today's song is by an indie rock group called Local Natives. They used to be called Cavil at Rest, so if that sounds familiar then you know this band! If not, this band has a nice mellow sound and this song in particular has a beautiful sound to it. They use the instruments incredibly well, with a balanced tone and a perfectly synced off beat drum beat. This is generally the kind of music that comes to mind when thinking about indie rock, and I think that Local Natives is the perfect sound to introduce indie rock to people. Local Natives doesn't stray too far from a more mainstreamed kind of indie sound, but they also deviate enough from what generalized rock or pop would sound like. Today I have music for you by the DJ known as Felix Cartal. I love the way this song sounds because it has a really good beat and the hook melody is extremely catchy. The drops are on point and the rhythm is one that you can have fun with, dancing or just kind of going crazy. I think these vocals are actually perfect for this song and I love how there is a point when they throw the beat down on a piano. I absolutely love the buildups in this song. They are long enough to create intensity but too long to where you get bored of it. This is a very well put together song in my opinion. Today's instrumental song is by the talented Wolfgang Gartner. This song is pretty interesting because it has a pretty intense feel to it. Jay Park is honestly one of the biggest Korean heartthrobs. He can sing, dance, and rap, not to mention he is quite a spectacular looking man. Today I have music for you by an amazing band, Young The Giant. This is actually one of my favorite songs off their new album. I personally feel like this song has so much to offer to the listener. There is this rock energy at the base, but built on top of that is a very vulnerable feeling of what love is and how much love means to the singer. The song opens with this youthful and energetic howl and gives way to the main chorus melody on the keys. The lyrics in this song tell such a wonderful story, one that many people can relate to. The story I get from this song is one of searching for something and coming back to the roots. Coming back down to Earth and seeing it in a completely new way, but the love of his life remains the one thing that is unchanged, and she is the anchor that he grabs onto. Today I have a song for you by a very small boy band that was called One Call. Sadly, these guys disbanded before getting big, but they did release this song and I have to say, it is such a shame that they were not able to continue to come out with songs like this. I really like this song! It has a sick beat, great vocals and vocal harmonies, and this is just such a great dance song! This is an awesome song that you can jam to, sing to, and dance to. Today's instrumental song is by the incredibly famous Jennifer Lopez. I really like the infusion of Latin American beats with a modern electronic sound. Today I have a very interesting song for you by Jay Sean. The reason this is very intriguing is because this song has the feel of a pop song and a Bollywood song mixed. This is very different compared with pretty much every other song out there. The verses are all done in that sexy smooth way Jay Sean has, but the chorus is straight out of a Bollywood movie. This song was made independent of a Bollywood film but was used in one anyway. I won't lie, I think Jay Sean sounds phenomenal in this song. It is a complete turn around from the style of music that we all know Jay Sean for. I love everything about this song. Of course Jay Sean dazzles us with his beautiful voice.
