Keeping It Fresh

Today I have a new song out by Afrojack! What I love is how the EDM world is dropping new stuff left and right at the moment, which means hours of epic music time. But this song in particular has such a great sound to it because it feels like a mix of a smooth R&B song with EDM. Kudos to Afrojack and Wrabel for making this mix sound so incredibly amazing. This is such a great dance song and one that you can have so much fun just listening to. This style is just so perfect for Afrojack and its one that you can listen to at anytime. Today's instrumental song is by Calvin Harris and it is also a new single by him. I love the energy and of course, being by this great DJ, is just an awesome and pumped up dance song. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today I have a really incredible song for you by English band, Bombay Bicycle Club. There is such a multitude of things that I absolutely love about this song. From the beginning, they seamlessly work in a classic Bollywood song and even mold the chorus around the sound of the Bollywood song. And then after the first chorus, the band plays the Bollywood theme with modern Western instruments (guitar). Second, it has Bollywood! The great chemistry between this English and Western sound with a Bollywood style video and theme create a beautiful masterpiece that brings the classic and modern together. This is truly and indie song gone Indian which is the best play with words ever! The overall feel (no pun intended) of the song is a really happy one and I love the sound of the chorus because it evokes bright emotions and I personally felt the need to dance and sway a little to this song. This is just a superb, wonderful, masterful, phenomenal obra maestra. Today's instrumental song is by...

Today I have some great music for you! Today I have Broadway style music for you. Now this first song is from the greatest animated film and Broadway show of all time- The Lion King. This is one of the most incredible things I have ever had the pleasure to view and it is something I would go watch again and again because each time it is that special. The talent and skill to which all of these singers perform is just raw beauty, grace, and strength. Today's second song is by a pretty famous composer of our age named Karl Jenkins. This song is one of the best modern pieces I have heard. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today I have such a great, euphoria song for you all by Jus Jack. This song has everything you need for a great trance song-awesome melody, great transitions, and incredible vocals. This does have a Tiesto feel to it, but I really enjoy this song and I was definitely fist pumping in my room and mentally fist pumping in the gym. One of those songs that takes you to another state of being which is just the most amazing feel in the world. Today's instrumental song is by Tiesto and by putting these two songs together, you might hear why I find them having similar styles. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is by a really awesome duo known as Breathe Carolina. It has been a long time since I have heard anything by this group until Pandora kind of threw it in there. This song has a sick beat and awesome melodies. I love the way they work and it's just such a great sound. So much energy and an awesome dance song. Today's instrumental song is from Transformers because let's be honest, it's a cool movie! I hope enjoy the music and please feel free to comment.

Today I have a new song for you all by the band Savoir Adore. This song is actually part of an album that tells the entire story of two lovers. According to the band members, this is the last song and is the one that describes the climax of the love story, when the two become one. This song has the same ethereal, fantasy-like sound to it in which it is just so calm and chill. This band has mastered the art of combining electronic with extreme indie sounds. Just a great song with beautiful melodies! Today's instrumental song is from the movie Gravity. I recently saw this movie and I have to say it was absolutely incredible. This soundtrack is also phenomenal and it captures that special kind of beauty, one that can't match anything you have ever seen. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is by an extremely talented vocalist that you may have heard of. Mikky Ekko has such a beautiful and smooth voice that is able to create an intensity about it that is very different from the intensity that comes from strong vocals. He does have very strong vocals, but they are also soft and tranquil. This song in particular showcases his incredible skill with the upper register and falsetto, a falsetto that is actually very powerful. This song has such a great feel to it with the pounding drum beat in the background. Today's instrumental song is from the movie King Arthur and was composed by Hans Zimmer, a true and complete genius. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
