Keeping It Fresh

Today's music begins with the big boy band out of England, The Wanted. This song is a lesser known song by them and it is a great one! This song has so much energy and makes you get up and dance. Turn the bass up a little and then there is no way that you will be sitting still. Even though boy bands get a lot of crap from general music fans, boy bands are a huge part of the music industry. But I digress...this song is just awesome! Today's instrumental song kind of takes on a different genre. Hadouken! is a great group in the spirit of how freaking weird they are! Its great! Today's song is by an incredibly talented artist called Dante Kinnunen. Not only can this guy sing, but he also plays the drums and an electronic artist. So basically, a low key Zedd! But his style is so different from Zedd's which makes this awesome! This song is definitely more trance and chilled out which makes this song really great. Its one of those songs that you can chill out to or really jam to, your choice! Today's instrumental song is by a group that goes by XXYYXX. These guys are just plain interesting. Today's song is an Indian one in order to celebrate the huge festival that is happening-Diwali. This festival is one of the biggest holidays so I figured, why not share the culture? This first song is from one of my favorite Bollywood movies. This song and movie is all about family and love. Its just a beautiful song and captures the idea of starting fresh and new. This second song is not from a movie, rather an incredible Indian artist. I really enjoy this song because it is so calming and smooth. The vocals are deep and beautiful. Today's song is by a German DJ by the stage name MOGUAI. This guy is awesome! This song really explores the trap and dubstep realm of electronic music while also maintaining a trance-like sound. The beats are heavy and the vocals are great! The drops are pretty sick and the background has an intense dark sound too which is pretty magnificent! Today's instrumental song is by Israeli DJ, Borgore. Not going to lie, some of this guy's music is pretty weird and borderline freaky, but this mix with Carnage is pretty sweet. This song has Borgore's signature triplet drum beat which never fails to be really incredible and downright phenomenal. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is by a nice little indie band by the name of The Kooks. This song has that mellower, minor sound that accompanies certain kinds of indie songs. This is one of those songs that you can listen to in any situation-rainy weather or walking in the cool autumn air as you revel in the beautiful foliage. It doesn't have the aggressive sound that a lot of other rock bands have and its just a nice song to chill and relax to. Today's instrumental song is by the band Rooney. I freaking love this song. As in I never get tired of this song. It has such a good beat and a great synthpop sound, like something you would associate with Phoenix. Today marks the holiday Halloween, and in honor of this creepy night, I decided to post some holiday inspired music. This first song takes on the creepy side of Halloween. The music that you would expect to describe this weird and creepy holiday is present in this song. The changes between calm and haunting melodies then quick transition into dark orchestral melodies. Panic! At the Disco did a phenomenal job and I could not see anyone else doing a song like this. Today's second song is a mashup of the most famous Halloween song and a lesser known song. I know that I recently posted a song by James Arthur, but I just recently heard this one and was totally struck! This song is absolutely incredible! It has an edgy sound that is like a mix of country and hard rock. Its a sound that you will really feel when you listen to it and this song is so catchy! James Arthur really explores his style range and vocal range with some grit and a falsetto yell at the end to wrap it up. While this does have the feel of an anthem, this is one that I could listen at anytime and still be rocking out to it. And to segue into today's instrumental song, I was totally reminded of this famous song from Casino Royale. I think the two songs compliment each other really well.
