Keeping It Fresh

Today's song is one of the biggest throwbacks ever! I haven't heard this guy in so long-as in years. Aaron Carter kind of peaked in the early 2000s, and I hadn't even thought of this guy till I saw a picture of a friend meeting him. So naturally, I went back and listened to all the Aaron Carter songs I used to love as a little pipsqueak. Maybe this will be a trip down memory lane, or you will get a taste of what was the coolest shit ever! Today's instrumental song is a version of Vanilla Ice's most popular song. I think that is a huge hint as to what song this is. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Now for today's song, it may be one that almost everyone has heard. But since it is by my all time favorite rapper, I feel that it is okay for me to post this. Eminem has done it again with his new single, and I love it! This song goes back to his slim shady days which were pretty damn phenomenal! But it does have a small touch of the Eminem we heard in Recovery. But this is definitely a slim shady song. All I can say is welcome back you crazy ass dude! Today's instrumental song is by Eminem's genius mentor, Dr Dre. I feel like that in itself says everything! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today I have music along the more intense spectrum. This first song is by 30 Seconds To Mars and is one of my favorite songs off their new album. This is so different than the sound most bands have, and I really enjoy the unique quality of the song. And, something I really like is the way they build up to a certain energetic sound, almost like when a dam breaks and the water just flows wild and unrestricted. That is definitely how today's instrumental song feels, thanks to always phenomenal work of Hans Zimmer. This song is featured in the Man of Steel, and was one of the greatest parts of the movie. I for one enjoyed it, but that is up for debate. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

So today's song is by the English DJ, Rusko. I have to say. this song is pretty damn great! It isn't one of those dubstep songs that throws a bunch of heavy lines together, but it actually has a melody, harmonies, and just the right amount of underlying bass. Plus, the vocalist is pretty good too! This song has a slower beat, like some rap songs, and it sounds awesome! Today's instrumental song is by a duo called Mustard Pimp. This song has more of an intense and pumping sound to it, so it sounds so freaking sick! This song and style of music is very unique, You hear other groups with maybe a couple songs that have the same feel, but Mustard Pimp makes this his signature and he builds off it in so many phenomenal ways! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Okay, I confess that today's song is one that I heard from a movie trailer. However, I thought this song was absolutely amazing and just downright incredible. This song is by a band called Courrier, and I have to say, this is some of the most beautiful/inspirational songs ever. It's one of those songs that doesn't have much vocalization but it speaks so deeply through the music and soft vocals. One of those songs that you just feel rushing through your body, mind, and soul. I know, that was pretty cliche, but it is so true! I highly recommend looking at more of their music! Today's instrumental music is by a band that I have not posted about in a VERY long time-Explosions in the Sky. And it is quite a shame that I haven't posted much by them because they are absolutely phenomenal. This song, and all their others, speak right to the core of the self. Just astoundingly wonderful, beautiful, and perfect! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today I have some interesting music for you which does not correlate whatsoever! So this first song is a cover done by a group called Toploader, and this song has such a unique mix of funk and jazz. It is so weird and so appealing that you kind of just have to continue listening because it has that energetic and different sound. I just like this song a lot! Today's instrumental song is by a phenomenal duo called 2cellos. These guys are just so damn incredible and talented! As a cellist myself, I definitely have a huge respect for these two and wish I could play as fantastically and magically as they do. This duo have some astonishing covers! If you watch them play, live or on Youtube, it is something you will not forget. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is by Robin Thicke and features Kendrick Lamar. I have to say, this song has a pretty badass beat and its one of those kind of intense but also hardcore dancing ones. I really like the beat and overall sound of this song. And of course, Robin Thicke offers his wonderful voice and beautiful falsetto. It is really interesting to hear Kendrick Lamar rapping in Thicke's song, and I actually like it quite a bit! Today's instrumental song is an instrumental version of one of Justin Timberlake's new songs. You have probably heard this one, and it is freaking awesome. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
