Keeping It Fresh

Today I have a great song for you by the band Gemini Club. This song is pretty fantastic because it has the perfect blend of electronic and synth as well as indie rock elements. It is a really fun song to jam to and its a pretty great dance song. This song is just one of those that can be so perfect to listen to whenever, in every kind of situation or mood! I am definitely beginning to delve deeper into the Gemini Club's music, so hopefully I will have more music from then on the way! Today's instrumental song is an instrumental version of a song by Martin Solveig. This song is kind of popular, but its a good one! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is by a man with such a beautiful voice, Mat Kearney! I know I have been posting mellower and softer music, but I just had to share this song! Everything about this song is just so fantastic. The main guitar melodies with the background harmonies added with the phenomenal vocals allows to escape into your imagination. I kind of imagine myself driving on an empty road with the sun setting in the background. It is just such an incredible song, one of the ones that make you feel a way that only music can describe. Today's instrumental song is a version of a Gavin Rossdale song. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is by the popular electro artist, Calvin Harris. While he is a very popular DJ, this is a lesser known song of his. This song definitely has more trance to it, but it has a very steady beat and the overall sound of the song is great. Everything in this song meshes very well and it has quite a bit of and 80's influence. All in all, its a fantastic song! Today's instrumental song is by an artist called Owl City. Now this is one of my favorite songs by him, and so much of his music is absolutely incredible. This one definitely has the orchestral electro mix going on which is always awesome! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today I have music by a very small, but incredible band called Acceptance. This band has some of the greatest rock music I have ever heard. The lead vocalist has such a beautiful and moving voice. It is a voice that can sing rock music, but also convey the sadness and emotion of a ballad. Not only are they incredible in their recordings, but even better live! The harmonies are so perfect and the overall composition is phenomenal. Although they did break up, the rest of their music is something worth checking out! Today's instrumental song is a cover of a song by Anberlin. There is not one song by Anberlin that I dislike, and this song is one of their more soothing rock songs. I like it a lot, and the guitar work is very nice. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today I have some music for you from the band Vampire Weekend. Now one of the things that I found so interesting about this song is the use of Celtic sounding instruments. I mean, how often do you hear Celtic sounding flutes and a very folksy wind sound to a rock song? Not often! This song has a very good vibe to it and is really enjoyable to listen to when doing pretty much anything. Today's instrumental song is from the movie, The Odd Life Of Timothy Green. I think this song has some sort of special element that just makes it so perfect!   It is just one of those songs that can make you feel good and can almost take you to a different state of mind. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today I have some slower, lovely music. This song is just so moving and beautiful. The piano adds such a somber and eerily calming background. Jason Walker's soothing and calming vocals add such an incredible sense of beauty and poignancy. This song is just amazing to listen to, especially when it is raining outside. I just absolutely love this song. Today's instrumental song comes from the movie The Host. While I didn't really care for the movie, and found it dragging, I have to admit the background score was phenomenal. The emotions are captured so perfectly in the score and I think it outshines the actual movie. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today I have some weirdly awesome and pretty sick music for you! This first song is by a band called Art v.s. Science. This song is so freaking incredible with its jarring melodies and harmonies that clash together to create an incredible piece of work! this song has so much energy and it is a great motivation song. The beat is pretty damn sick and it is just a wicked song! Today's instrumental song is by a DJ who goes by D-Wayne. This song is pretty freaking awesome, especially when you hit the drops. It isn't even so much that the drops are heavy, but the transition to another beat and music style. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
