Today's music is by a very popular and pretty famous singer, Bruno Mars. Now normally I wouldn't post a song this popular but I absolutely love this song! It is so brilliantly composed and gets me up dancing every single time! It has such a great modern twist on an 80's beat and Mars' voice is so perfect for the overall tone of the song. So today, I have music from an incredible duo called Epiphony. They are from the Middle East and throw so much of that beautiful flare to their music. I have to say, it takes quite some skill to incorporate a cultural sound into a song like this, and it is so freaking sweet! The beat is incredible, and the melodies have such a perfect fusion with both the Arabian style sound and the general theme of the song. The ethereal vocals also go so well with this song! Definitely worth checking out! Today's instrumental song is by Dean Cohen and also has a pretty sick beat and a very unique sound that I absolutely love! Today's song is by a group called Empire of the Sun. Not going to lie, these are some crazy guys, but the music is so fantastic. It has such an awesome vibe that is both dancy and just plain fantastic! This song has such free and lively sound to it that really makes you feel incredible! Today I have music by a group called Angels and Airwaves. What I really love about this group is that each memeber is a part of another famous band. For example the lead singer is from Blink 182, the bassist from 30 Seconds to Mars, the drummer from Nine Inch Nail, I think you get the point. What is even greater about this group is that the music they make is nothing like the music of their respective bands. This is a very fresh and intriguing sound. Today I have music by the extremely talented, Robert DeLong. This song has an awesome vibe and can make you feel really good. The chorus melodies are layered really well and that he does everything on his own never fails to impress me. This is great music to chill out to and the drum beats are pretty sick! He somehow manages to play offbeat but still maintain the beat, so its pretty sweet. Today's instrumental song is by a group called Above and Beyond. Today I have music that definitely falls on the mellower side of the music spectrum. This song is by Family of the Year and everything about this song fits so well with each other to create this amazing song. Normally I won't discuss the lyrics, but this song has lyrics that really connects with every person and how we all feel at some point in life. Moving on though, the vocals are soft and almost gentle with very calming guitar strumming. This is a band worth looking deeper into. Today's instrumental song comes from the movie Beasts of the Southern Wild. This song has so man different tones that blend so well together to have a very hopeful sound. Today I have some rap ,music for you featuring some of the greats. This song is a great collaboration with DJ Khaled, Drake, Rick Ross, and Lil Wayne. I absolutely love Drake's part in the chorus and just the overall sound of the song. The beat is a good pace, something that you chill to or dance slowly to.
