Keeping It Fresh

Today's song is by the band Imagine Dragons. I am so excited because they are finally touring in my city! This song is just sheer greatness. The beat is intoxicating and so driving, with a power that only music can instill in a person. Although I am warning you know, if you decide to watch the music video, it is very....interesting...Today's instrumental song of the day is from the movie Avatar, which was pretty phenomenal. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is by a Canadian indie group called Paper Lions. Their sound is really interesting because it sounds like a mix of Young the Giant, Mumford and Sons, and Michael Buble. Weirdly intriguing? I think so! Today's instrumental song is from the movie, The Lovely Bones and was created by Brian Eno. I myself haven't seen it, but I hear it is incredible! Please feel free to comment and I hope you enjoy the music!

Today's song is not actually a recorded and produced song be a certain person, but it is a mashup done by DJ McFLY. This song is pretty freaking awesome because it combines two incredible voices, Usher and Ne-Yo, with two crazy electro groups, Swedish House Mafia and Dada Life. This song is pretty much insane! Today's instrumental song is by the Glitch Mob because they are pretty much brilliant and this song combines electro with and R&B beat. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is for anyone who feels that they are being consumed by everything and for those dealing with any issues that are overwhelming. This song is by Fun. and the lyrics are such a great pick-me-up and reassurance that life isn't always going to be like this. Today's instrumental song is a version of a Switchfoot song. I love this song because it has driving energy that makes me continue whatever I am doing. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Happy New Year everyone! 2012 was full of ups and downs, with a lot of surprises and turns mixed in. But we have made it through and lets make 2013 an incredible and unforgettable year! I hope you enjoy the music and have an awesome new year!

Last night was the first night of one of the greatest electronic festivals-Lights All Night! Sadly, I didn't quite meet the age restriction which sucked, but I saw a lot of videos and I wanted to share some of the songs played! The first song is a remixed version by Zedd of a Skrillex song. I honestly like this version better than the original, but let me know what you think! The second song is by Tiesto, and is actually a compilation of everything he played for the Olympics Ceremony in Athens. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song comes from a band from the Barbados, Cover Drive. This song has a great beat and smooth rhythms. The vocals are really soothing and this is a softer side of electropop. Today's instrumental song is by  a trance group from Belgium. This song has good energy and really nice rhythm lines. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
