Keeping It Fresh

Last night was the first night of one of the greatest electronic festivals-Lights All Night! Sadly, I didn't quite meet the age restriction which sucked, but I saw a lot of videos and I wanted to share some of the songs played! The first song is a remixed version by Zedd of a Skrillex song. I honestly like this version better than the original, but let me know what you think! The second song is by Tiesto, and is actually a compilation of everything he played for the Olympics Ceremony in Athens. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song comes from a band from the Barbados, Cover Drive. This song has a great beat and smooth rhythms. The vocals are really soothing and this is a softer side of electropop. Today's instrumental song is by  a trance group from Belgium. This song has good energy and really nice rhythm lines. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is kind of interesting! I heard it a while ago, and when I saw White Collar's pilot episode I heard it again. I thought I would post on here so other people can listen to it because it is fantastic and from the 60's! This song is by a duo, Sam and Dave, and is part of beginning of R&B with some soul. This is a fun song and you can't help but feel like dancing. Today's instrumental song is by Jimi Hendrix, and honestly, it is just him playing his guitar in the cool, smooth way he always did. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

For today's song, I have a song that may sound familiar. The Bingo Players created this song and integrated parts of Brenda Russell's song. Flo Rida used the Bingo Players' mix in one of his songs. I love this song because of its relaxed energy and sweet beats. Today's instrumental song is by Phutureprimitive. I recently discovered him, and I have to say that his style is incredibly unique. This song is more trance and downtempo, but all of his stuff is awesome! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is something I have heard recently. Macklemore has an interesting hip-hop style. This song is very intriguing, with a catchy chorus and a cool saxophone beat. Today's instrumental song is by Denod, who does hip hop remixed beats. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's songs have a holiday/Christmas theme, because it is that time of year! The first song is by Michael Buble, who has one of the most powerful voices I have ever heard. He has a cool jazz sound to his music that is very refreshing and is a step away from majority of music out there. Today's instrumental song is an orchestral piece that captures the holiday season very well! If you celebrate Christmas, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas, and if not, Happy Holidays! I hope you enjoy and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is some hip hop and pop rap. Outasight is an older artist, but I love his music. This song is really fun to listen to and it's such a chill song to dance to. Today's instrumental song is by Afrojack, and is pretty much awesome! It has a sick beat and great rhythms! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
