Keeping It Fresh

I have some indie punk for you today! This band is called Gossip, and there are too many people who have not heard of them. This song has such amazing bass beats and rhythms, plus the melody is a mix of punk, dance, and rock so I love it! Today's instrumental song is an instrumental version of a song by Vampire Weekend. This band is also incredibly amazing so go check them out! I hope you enjoy the music and please  feel free to comment!

For today's song, I picked something from a group that many people have maybe heard of, but never actually listened to their music. Passion Pit is a great band to listen to, because their music can be weird sometimes and their lyrics are pretty interesting. This song has been played on the radio, but when I talk about Passion Pit, people still seem to not know who they are. Today's instrumental song is by Alesso because I needed something energetic to listen to while I attempt to study physics.....I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is by one of the most unique groups I have heard. Mumford and Sons have such an incredible sound that makes them sound distinct. They use old timey instruments that give a great sound to their profound lyrics. Today's instrumental song is from an awesome movie-Sherlock Holmes. If you have not seen this movie, it is imperative to go watch it because it is so riveting! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is by a group called OneRepublic. They have a few popular singles out there, so maybe you have heard of them. I really enjoy listening to them because their music was one of the early ones to pull away from what defined mainstream music. I find Ryan Tedder's voice to be very soothing and inspirational. Today's instrumental song is by a composition company called Immediate Music. This is the first time I have heard of them, so it is just as new to you as it is to me! Hopefully you will like it! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is by an amazingly fun band, Phoenix. I absolutely love this group! Their music is alternative rock, but it is very distinct and unique. They use sounds from previous decades and mesh them with current beats and instruments. Today's instrumental song is by M83. This song has elements of rock, indie, and techno. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is by the band Foo Fighters. The Foo Fighters have a really interesting sound because they are able to mix thrashing energy with incredible melodies. I love how the drums have their own melody during the chorus. Hopefully you will like them too! Today's instrumental song is by a band called Codes in the Clouds. I absolutely love this band name, and this song! It has a softer rock sound with a tone that describes a lot. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is kind of interesting because it does not come from a typical group. Globus is a collaboration done by an orchestra and guest vocalists. This song is one of most epic songs I have heard! I can't even describe it! Seriously, I hope you like this song. Today's instrumental song is by the Glitch Mob because this song has that epic sound to it. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
