Keeping It Fresh

Today I have the newest song by The Bingo Players. Part of me likes to think that this song was made in part for and dedicated to Paul Baumer. It seems that his spirit is present because this new single is very very good. This song does have slightly melancholy melodies to the it, especially in the background. But it also has that inspirational feel to it. The Bingo Players met a blow and are now rising back up from being knocked out. I love the chorus melody, especially with the underlying supporting harmony. This is definitely a fantastic dance song and I can't wait to hear it played in clubs. There is a constant source of energy, however it is dynamic. This song is full of both sadness and strength, a perfect expression of the current situation. We love you Paul. Today's instrumental song is by Tiesto. This is a man who has perfected the art of DJing. He knows how to read a crowd well and can play the greatest songs while also remixing on the spot. Today I was definitely in the swing mood, so I have music for you today by the great Michael Buble. This song is very happy and has that bright energy that a lot of songs like this have. The title of the song is very appropriate for the feel of the song. I love the romantic sweetness this song while still remaining very classy. I think that is one of my favorite things about this kind of music. It can be very cute and about love without referencing things like sex all the time. This song is just a beautiful one that uses the idea of big band so incredibly well. I can't help but smile when I hear this song because it really does make you feel good. This is one of those songs I can see being performed in a really fancy hall or in a nice hotel, someone crooning away with the grand piano. Today I have music for you by two of the biggest names in the electronic scene. To be honest, when you put Avicii and Nicky Romero together, you can't go wrong. Its literally two sounds of awesome that come together to create something phenomenal. I really like the way this song feels and they way the tracks are layered onto each other. This song is just kind of magical because it has so many feelings mixed into one. But all of these feelings are bright, like happiness, love, and fun. I could not stop dancing to this song because it has that infectious energy that tends to pervade your entire being. Which is great! Today's instrumental song is one of my favorite songs by David Guetta. This also has such a great dancing feel to it and both the instrumental and vocal versions are incredible. Today I have music by am artist known as Thomas Jack. Now the original song is not by Thomas Jack, however, the awesome remix was. This song really reminds me of the beach, somewhere that has a nice feel to it. Its also one of those songs that you can listen doing random things like cleaning your room or just chilling around. Its one of those songs that you can listen to no matter what, and I also love the fact that you can't help want to sway and bounce on your feet a bit. Today's instrumental song is by another incredible solo artist who goes by Joe Garston. To be honest, I only recently heard this song, but I really really liked it. It has a smooth vibe and a bass that doesn't dominate the entire sound. I feel like this is one of those songs that you can listen to and just go to a different state of thinking. Today I have a pretty awesome song for you by Flux Pavilion, and it features one of the greatest underground rappers ever, Childish Gambino. Gambino is one of my absolute favorite rappers because the content of his lyrics has so many layers to it. Even this song, one that is seemingly all about fitting into that party scene has a deeper meaning. Now Flux Pavilion knows how to drop the bass, and the drop in this song is beyond sick. It kind of has elements of trap while maintaining their normal style, so kudos to you Flux! Childish Gambino and Flux Pavilion together makes for a powerfully entrancing duo and an energetic beat that makes you want to dance or head bang hard. Today's instrumental song is from the movie Tron: Legacy. What I love is how suave and effortless Daft Punk can make their music sound. Today I have music by one of my favorite bands of all time, The 1975. Now I posted about these guys a long while back because they were an offbeat band. But then a few months later they became a huge success! And I am so happy to see their climb to success because this band, this is what music has needed. Like Bastille, The 1975 composes songs about the raw emotions and struggles that people feel in life. It seems that everyone I talk to about this band has one song that they can call their own, one that they can connect to on a personal and deeper level. Now I want to make one thing clear-The 1975 is not a proponent teenage angst. The 1975 tends to focus on real life issues without having to consider the propriety that many artists have to battle. Today I have music for you by one of my favorite rappers-Tinie Tempah. I know that a lot of people that I know don't really know Tinie Tempah and haven't really heard his music. Which is blasphemous! I love Tinie Tempah's style and he is an extremely talented rapper. He has his own branch on the tree of rap. Its actually pretty awesome because he has a combination of soul choruses and electronic background sounds while having the rap be the main part of the song. A lot of rappers just have the rap and a quick chorus, but this is definitely different and refreshing. I also really like the fact that his English accent is able to show through just a little bit and it adds a sort of bad boy feel to his rap. Yeah, I definitely enjoy Tinie Tempah's music.
