Today's song is a really cute song by the band Bombay Bicycle Club. Everything about this song is enjoyable and calming. I love the slightly raspy vocals and soft guitar strumming. It adds such a cute element to the song and makes it so entrancing. This is one of those songs that you can listen to anytime, whether the sun is shining or its raining, with someone or not. This is all just kind of perfect! Today's instrumental song comes from the incredibly phenomenal movie, Dallas Buyers Club. I can't even begin to describe how good this movie was. There are so many messages in this movie, and the way it was produced makes sure that every scene had its place and an important role to the movie. Absolutely stunning! Today I was really feeling some slower and mellower music. So, today's song is by one of my favorite country artists, Hunter Hayes. I love this song especially because he cleanly switches between minor and major keys and does it so beautifully. His voice really cuts deep with this song and really tugs at the heartstrings. This is probably one of my favorite songs by him as well. A spectacular voice coupled with some incredible guitar work. Its absolutely perfect! Today's instrumental song is from the movie Romeo and Juliet. Not that I am a huge fan of the movie, but this violin piece is absolutely heart wrenching and shatteringly poignant.

Today's song is by a band called The Chain Gang of 1974. An interesting name to say the least, and even more intriguing is their music. I really like the sound of this song because it is able to sound intense while also sounding mellow. I really like the psychedelic feel of the chorus and the background synth work. Everything about this song has such a good feel and is all in all just an awesome song to listen to. Today's instrumental song is from the movie The Avengers, because why not? Today's song comes from the new album by the band Strange Talk. I really love the feel of their music because it has such a positive and bright energy to it. This is a very summery sounding song, but its one of those that can get your spirits up. With this song, I know I can either chill out and relax or do something active and the music fits seamlessly. Its one of those awesome rounded songs that are nice for any activity or lack thereof. Today's instrumental song is from the move Night At The Museum. This movie is so funny and has so many underlying jokes that you have to pay attention to really get. But I love this movie and of course Ben Stiller who is amazing! Today's song is by a band that recently announced their new tour Gospel. Panic! At the Disco seems to always create songs that have this unique energy to it, a primal desire mixed with creativity and lack of boundaries. Each song, on this album especially, has a specific message. What is even better is that each message addresses an issue that everyone has had at some point. This song especially has a strong message that almost everyone can relate to. I love this band and can't wait to see them! Today's instrumental song is from the movie Jumper. Happy Oscar Sunday to you all! Yes, the Oscars were held tonight, and I was quite pleased with the winnings. Jared Leto for best supporting actor, Lupita Nyong'o for best supporting actress, Cate Blanchett for best lead actress and Matthew McConaughey for best lead actor. There were great performances, more incredible wins, and my favorite 12 Years A Slave for best picture. But today, I am here to post two of the Oscar nominated songs that most people are unfamiliar with. This first song is from the movie Her and was written sung by Karen O. It is so beautiful and very bluesy which flows along with the mood of the story being told and the manner in which we view the film. The second song is from the movie Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom and was done by the great U2. Both of these songs were performed at the Academy Award Ceremony and both are extremely wonderful. I have to apologize for not posting a song yesterday, I was at a religious thing all night. But today I do have some fresh new music, starting with The Glitch Mob. For those of you who don't know, these guys came out with a new album very recently and its so different from their usual style. But it is really great! It has so many different elements wrapped up into one and has such a dark undertone which is very cool and trippy at the same time. Today's instrumental song is a remixed version of Armin Van Buuren's new song, and the remix is done by Blasterjaxx. All in all, sick beats and awesome drops.
