This song is a little harder than some of the songs that I have posted before, but this beat is awesome This is a phenomenal work out song and is also one that you can go crazy to. The drops are nasty and make this song even greater! Today's instrumental song is by Daleri. Now this is absolutely, positively sick! The buildup is freaking awesome and once the beat drops every one goes insane. Its a bumping song and has such a cool sound to it. This song is so much damn fun! Today's song is by a band called Tame Impala. What makes this band pretty unique is the heavy use of bass. This song would not be anything spectacular if it were not for the sick bass guitar work. Another thing that makes this song pretty freaking awesome is how they take an 80's style and make it super synthed. The Beatles like sound comes with vocals, the similar soft vocals that are not louder than the music and the fuzzed sound. All in all, a phenomenally fantastic song! Today's song is by a phenomenal singer, Mikky Ekko. His style is so beautiful and so haunting that it entrances you. This song is so incredible and so soft. I love how soothing Mikky Ekko's voice is and how there is an underlying hoarseness to it. This hoarseness is very subtle but adds a certain kind of volume and depth to Ekko's voice and this song. The other thing I love about this song is the minimal use of instrumentals. The only other thing you feel other than the vocals is the drumbeat heartbeat. It is just so beautiful and perfect! Today's instrumental song is from the movie Braveheart. This song focuses on the wind melodies and they are so beautiful. Today's song is a new one by John Mayer. This song is a departure from his usual blusey sound and he really explores the folk side of things. I would even go as far as to say this has country to it! It is such a feel good song and his guitar work is absolutely incredible. As usual, John Mayer fails to disappoint us. This song is such a good one to listen to at anytime of the day. I just can't believe how incredible of a job he does with his guitar and it makes the song sound as amazing as it is. This is a win for Mayer! Today's song is by a new band called Smallpools. Now when I heard this song, the first thing that came to mind was Passion Pit. Both groups have very similar sounds. But what makes Smallpools different is a greater use of funky guitar sounds and more of an indie sound than pop. All in all, I think this is a great group and I seriously can't wait to hear more music from them! This is just some awesome feel-good music and the melodies are catchy while also having that other worldly feel. As in I can totally imagine myself driving down a highway with either the city lights above me at night or driving towards the Pacific in the sunset. Today's song is by the incredible, the great, Macklemore! I went to his concert earlier this evening, and holy shit that was quite a show! Out of all the concerts I have been to, this has got to be one of the most energetic, exciting, craziest performance. Everything about it was full of life and you could really feel his passion. Macklemore was hilarious and even had a couple costume changes, all of which were so perfect. And of course, he dazzled us with his rapping skills. You can hear his pain and can't help falling in love with the powerful lyrics and story he has to tell. If you ever get the honor and privilege to watch Macklemore, PLEASE GO. Today's song is an interesting one by singer Frank Turner. What I really like about this song is the beat and how he fits the lyrics to the beat. It is really cool and weird the way he does it because it isn't the way that most people organize and coordinate the lyrics and beat. Frank Turner's guitar work is also really great and is a good mix of a blusey sound and folk style music. The twang of the English folk sound completes the song and so do the great lyrics! Today's instrumental song is a cover of a Sublime song. This song follows the same pattern as the previous song with the slow beginning and then speeding up.
