Keeping It Fresh

It has been quite a while since I have posted any kind of hip hop, and today I decided to explore the European style! Its quite incredible to hear some of the great talent and awesome beats that go on with artists like this. This first song is by the Swedish rapper known as Petter. I have absolutely no idea what he is saying, but I really like the beat and overall smooth feel of the song. Today's instrumental song is pretty sick and is a version of one of my favorite rap songs which happens to be by Trey Songz. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's music is by multiple artists who are pretty freaking amazing! This first song is a collaboration featuring Skrillex, Krewella, and Ellie Goulding. So basically, it is sick as hell and the drops are so good! This is a fabulous collaboration and I can't wait to hear more collaborations like this. Today's instrumental song is an older one by Alice Deejay. And I am talking 1999 old. Yep, this stuff existed before most of you thought. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment! 

Today's song is by a very indie group out of the UK called The 1975. What I love about this song and this band in general is that they allow their accent to slip through the lyrics, creating a different tone quality to the song. Now I am not one who usually watches music videos, but something that makes this band even more intriguing is the use of only black and white. It creates such a great contrast but is also full of those gray areas, just like life! Today's instrumental song is a version of one of my favorite songs by Anberlin. It is pretty hard to pick a favorite though since I love everything by Anberlin...But I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!

Today's song is by a small, upcoming band called Paper Route. This band is one of those small ones that once you hear them, you can't stop listening! This band has an organic flow between normal rock music and electronic influences. I also love their songwriting because it also flows with all the music harmonies and waves. The ending of this song is just so...indescribable! I highly recommend listening to their music because I think you might find it to be very intriguing! Today's instrumental song is from the movie The Island. This song has such depth to it that you can't help but fall in love with it and find this song to be absolutely incredible. Today's first song is by a music act called Radical Face. What I love about this artist, album, and song is the complete unique quality behind it. Each song in the album has a special story since each song tells the story of a house and what happened in them. This is a concept that I fell in love with because it has never been done before in the music scope. The overlaying vocals create a cozy feel and the cool guitar work makes everything come together. I highly recommend checking out Radical Face's work! Today's instrumental song is by the band Hurts and it is definitely my favorite song by them. Today's music comes from a few of the greatest artists out there. This first song is off Kaskade's new album which is freaking awesome! Great drops and dance music! So today's song is one that is by a hugely famous artist, but it has been a few years since anyone has talked about this song and I had it stuck in my head so...Everyone knows Rihanna, the R&B Princess. Her songs are extremely catchy even if the lyrics suck and she really knows how to sell her music and image. I won't deny, she is quite the talented person and has a great voice. But I have to admit, her latest music is not as great as her old stuff. Like this song! It has great energy and an overall quality sound that is different from a lot of other songs we hear on the airwaves. Today's second song is actually a cover done by a punk band who absolutely killed it! The Cab's rendition is so phenomenal, and I think I might actually like it better!
